Till I got to this. I feel much better after reading the whole explanation. I was beginning to think I hallucinated the 2nd heat 😂

So glad you wrote this! I am just starting the 3rd heat, and I was so freaking confused why Lochner was in 2nd, and then they mentioned that the 2nd heat was canceled, and I was even more confused, since I watched it. So I went to your feed, scrolled down to avoid spoilers, and then went backwards

I just finished watching the skeleton team competition & the 2-man & monobob. I had managed to avoid spoilers, and oh my gosh, that was so fun! Austin & Mystique getting gold was so exciting. Great job by Del Duca too. And Kaysha getting gold & Elana getting bronze is so freaking fun!

I think they are still good. Computers still love them. But it would be nice if they could be consistent the rest of the way, to close out conference play & the conference tourney.

I did not need to be reminded of that 😂

Go! Please.

Yay for bronze! Gold would, of course, be awesome. But so is Bronze. Americans winning a medal in sliding sports is always cool.

This is nightmare fodder.

Bummer. I am catching up on what I missed while watching tennis, and was wondering what happened to the Sunday events that Martin kept talking about on Saturday (I had to intentionally skip your posts this weekend, to avoid spoilers). Bummed that St. Moritz is done now.

Still too soon for Vikings fans...

I did not know to follow her, but I do now. Thank you!

Or maybe not. I am thinking way too deeply about this. If said in a standard Minnesota accent, it is uff, but if said in a Scandinavian "Fargo" type accent, it is oof. I swear I am done responding to this now.

Oh, pronunciation is probably more like oof da though.

Uff da, at least for my 2nd generation Swedish-American grandparents (& my German heritage Grandma who took on all of my Grandpa's Norwegian traits).

So true. Also, because they are scared of him retaliating since there are no longer any guard rails. It is all so pathetic. But voters were dumb enough to either choose this, or stay home, which was as bad as voting for him.

I feel like they are very different types of misery. Lions were just so irrelevant for so long, like the Timberwolves were, while the Vikings were rarely irrelevant, and usually give fans hope, just before crashing back down. But they both definitely provided misery.

I'm sure that Martin Haven said something about this, but I had to turn the sound down a number of times, because my pup didn't like some of the sounds she was hearing. She is very sensitive and picky, and since I was watching in the middle of the night, I didn't want her to wake anyone by barking.

I'm always excited for more St. Moritz!

Ha. When I was in high school (a long time ago), Blake was the old money school & Breck was the new money school.

We may never have a Gen X president or Speaker or Senate majority Leader, but at least we have Ken Jennings at Jeopardy...

I've missed watching some of the comedy stuff, but have found it better to not hear him or see him on video at all.

I want a Cool Whip Bowl or a Reddi Wip Bowl. This mayo stuff is disgusting.

My mom just said she remembers how bad that was. They suggested I could stay with my sister another day (it was Thanksgiving), and fly home, but I couldn't imagine that I would feel good enough to be in the airport the next day. Uff.

Got it in 2006. I will never forget how horrible that was, and I had to ride in the car for 8 hours on day 2 of it. At least it was a minivan and I could lie down in the backseat. I did somehow get even sicker from food poisoning a decade later, but that Norovirus was atrocious.

Good Will Hunting & Field of Dreams would be my picks.

Bummer. I loved the split pea soup, and the Triple Berry Pannekoeken, when it was available. I hadn't been there in forever though. I like Kevin's thought process on the delivery!

Amen. I love a wide variety of music. I basically listen to every genre, and most eras of music (though I am weakest on current stuff, and by current, I mean the last 15 or more years..., but I love lots of stuff from before I was born, in 1974).

Ben Mendelsohn has moved into that category for me in the last few years. I still have a few to watch, but I think he is good in every role.

I love that show, but Kevin was absolutely right! Apparently the Russians getting to the moon first made American astronauts less excellent.

I hate when people drive like they are immune to slippery roads. Also hate when people follow close, in any weather. Got whiplash a couple times that way as a kid, and decades later, my neck has never been great.
