I jumped ship as soon as Libre was stable!

It's a mature software suite so it's reliable. I've been using it since it branched out from OpenOffice. (Apparently that was way back in 2011.)

That's even better news then!

I'm gonna be the fifth because that is part of a darn good office suite.

Wow I never thought I'd want a leek-shaped fountain pen π€

I love how "probably" is in there. π I can totally relate.

It's best to take the word "trip" here in the context of a journey. π Like how your mind "travels" with the music while listening to long instrumental pieces.

Oh gosh. This is my kind of nib! π€

Yes!
I also write my drafts with fountain pens and I hoard my workhorse inks whenever I can. It makes me feel worried a lot less about running out. π€ You're gonna use them all up anyway, right? Right??? π

Ok I love the concept of a Rumination Bank! What's worse is that you gain more interest when you keep investing in it. ππ€

I am the other way around! I used to ignore Parker, until I bought my Vector XL, and then the Original Jotter, and now... this could be next, depending on MPS. π

Oh wow. I actually like that too! And the hooded nib adds to that futuristic kinda aerodynamic look! π€

I actually keep a record of how much I've spent on fountain pens. I don't think it's much compared to others but it is big enough not to post. ππ

The name already interests me! I hope you liked how it turned out! π

That is such a cool book! I love Taschen's releases!

Looks like I'm in the majority here-- Diamine has a lot of simple shading inks (pretty but not too fancy) and are reasonably priced!

Well I'm sure to go to MPS! it's just what comes after that's still vague. π

Right, I was talking about fountain pens. π€

I have been really loving the look of monoc nibs! I hope to get a pen that has one someday!

It has to be my Faber-Castell Grip (2023) EF. It writes wet and smooth and has a triangular grip that helps me keep a comfortable grip even when my fingers are sweaty. πββοΈ

Is it ok to put it so close to food-grade stuff? π€

I have the EF nib too! It is very reliable and it has never dried on me.

I guess I just posted this because design-wise, it looks friendly and unserious, which may be why some fp peeps look down on it as a "child's pen." But I would say that its friendly look while being able to handle heavy use actually makes it among my favorites now. π€ Never underestimate the KakΓΌno!

Uh oh. I wonder if I will ever learn too π€
Though I have been a bit more careful recently!

I love Perkeos! I have the Peony Blossom one, but I feel like I want more of them. π They have some cool tones that relax me, which is important for my writing mood! π€

I can imagine that the wooden barrel feels good to hold while writing. π

The thing about the con-40 is that it's almost everywhere as a Pilot standard π To be fair, they probably wanted a converter that is compatible with almost every fountain pen they have. But I guess that also meant compromises!
comment in response to
post
You just mentioned a "horrible thing" of a Pilot converter and I already guessed it was the con-40 π€ They turned that thing into an almost necessary evil.
I hope your pen could take a con-70!

Oh gosh. That looks so worth the planning and effort to make it. π₯° Congrats on finishing them and selling all of the first batch!! π₯³

I do bring them with me! I just like writing with most of my pens, and I rotate them as needed.
But maybe if I have those super-expensive ones... maybe I'll keep them at home. Maybe. π€

Not sure if we have the same definition of burgundy but Rohrer & Klingner's Alt-Bordeaux is one of my favorite inks! π

Drawing straight to ink also taught me to become more confident in my lines, and I like how it really exercises both my imagination and memory to draw things. π₯°

Thank you! For now, I would just need a convenient place to start. Been into Indian stuff lately. π

Did you order directly from their website or are there other distributors?

They look so good! I've been eyeing Ranga pens (not any particular model, just in general) for the past few weeks. I'll get one someday. π

All of my brainstorming and initial writing goes down on paper! π I just like working with tools that demand nothing else but for me to remember to bring them. It's also nice writing on something that doesn't do anything else in the background.
