This sounds bad. No idea what you're saying here, but it sounds bad.

I agree, and it will build. My greatest concern is voting rights. They're pushing to make it harder for us to vote, we can't wait until mid-terms to do something about it. Yes, I believe the last election was messed with, but there's nothing we can do about it now but stop it from happening again.

At least it's sparking creativity! For the bargain price of $575.00 (standard, there's a deluxe pkg!), you can rent a couple of laying hens from Rent the Chicken. It includes (includes everything from a portable pen and food to a how-to guide) guaranteed to produce between 7-14 eggs/week.

As I'm watching this horror show unfold, I can't help but think back to the months leading up to the election and all of those videos showing him appearing to be weak, rambling incoherently, and wondering what the hell happened - was that just a show, was someone withholding his meds?

This is exactly why I've rededicated myself to the goals I set for myself this year. I accept the road will be tougher to navigate, and there will be setbacks and unexpected detours, so I'm focusing on progress rather than a specific outcome. Sitting still is not an option.

I don’t know if it’s true but I read she’s considering running for the senate seat now occupied by Susan Collins. I don’t live in Maine but if she does I’ll gladly support her!

The ones I find especially galling right now are those who express their approval of this nightmare while begging for exemptions - please do it to everyone else, but not me, cause I voted for you! They will never get an ounce of pity from me.

As long as you want to! I watched the hockey game when the US beat Russia (yes, I am that old) and screamed until I lost my voice. I bought the movie Miracle on Ice about the game, and it still brings me to tears when I watch it. Celebrate away! 👏👏👏

The willfully uninformed and easily duped group is beginning to admit out loud how much they regret their vote. The hardcore (will never be redeemable) are at the (I still love you, but) begging for an exemption stage rather than admitting they were wrong and must never (ever) be trusted.

What has become painfully obvious is that the current president believes he has whatever power he chooses to take, and he's daring established laws and systems to stop him. So far - he's winning.

That move to Portugal I’ve been contemplating is looking better and better.

I liked it even before I understood all of it and liked it even more once I made the effort to get educated. 👍

Great suggestion! I was running out of messages to send to my congressional reps - I'll work on this over the weekend and begin a new round. 👍

I just got my first library card since I was a kid, and I've made a list of banned books to buy/read this year. It's a start.

I don't believe a word that woman says. I hope she does vote against him, but it will in no way redeem her at this point.

I'm eligible for a booster in April, and I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed they don't yank the vaccine before then!

It's our turn to carry the load for a while - and I believe this is just the beginning.

Assuming it's real and not AI, I saw a video this morning of Jeffries refusing to call for Adams's removal, instead urging him to do a better job of governing. I just sat here shaking my head, and thinking, we are so screwed.

I am having trouble finding the words to describe how sick and disgusted this makes me feel. I hope I live long enough to see these people experience massive karma.

👍I did this last year - it took only a few minutes. Do it!

I've always thumbed my nose at conspiracy theories, but I now believe 47 made a deal with elmo for the presidency in return for unfettered access to the biggest power/money grab in our history. They get richer, 47 gets revenge, and a safety net courtesy of SCOTUS. They could care less about people.

I just tried, and the screen came right up with no problem. 🤷‍♀️

The others won't care until it affects them personally (even then, they'll blame Biden/Dems). We have a willful ignorance problem in the US, and it's not new.
