Children at private schools who have always benefitted from longer holidays do not seem to have suffered. Are they made differently?

Thank you Carol: Police are supposed to investigate , asking questions is fine. Just because you are middle class and don't like it doesn't mean it will be ignored. Some people think it's still 1912 and shouldn't be questioned by police - they need to get over themselves.

Letting a generation, who have paid thousands in tax and NI in their forty or fifty years working life, have access to what in a lifetime is probably £3000 worth of support doesn't seem a big deal. This govt are pitching young against the old.

Hopefully, my taxes fund a government who can consider a better approach than my uneducated ideas. Means testing with a gradually decrease rather than an absolute cut off point? I do know that penalising the 10 million who are not millionaires morally isn't the answer.

So many variables across predictions as well which make a mockery of this. A lot is self inflicted - when we were we no longer needed levels, we invented our own.
