Omg, I spent my afternoon wondering about this. Perfect timing on the viewpoint share and articulation!

FFS. He can’t even put together a whole sentence much less read on ketamine, but he want to micromanage every federal employee that’s left? Just another ploy to fire people without cause.

Well done, Sir.

This does not bode well. In the last years when they do something good it’s followed by something REALLY BAD.

Why do they have our citizens so much, when we have enriched them all.

From the people supposedly purging “waste” - this is gross waste at the cost of human lives. Its unforgivable.

Would be honored to join Democracy? Not a qualified leader in the others.

Fully ending Medicaid and now closing SS offices. This is looking a lot like a premeditated culling of the most vulnerable in society. It’s horrific. 58 million seniors, 44 million disabled, 70 million on Medicaid (40% children, 60% in nursing homes) - all in danger!

I think that was at CPAC (unverified)

Hahaha you haven’t met a trad wife in the presence of her husband. But yes, the rest of us are as we should be.

Yes but they shouldn’t have to be extorted in the process to get the aid we committed to. The geopolitical advantage of helping Ukraine is keeping democracy viable for the world. It shouldn’t have taken the loss of Crimea and Georgia for this to fall on Ukraine.

The point isn’t who benefits - it’s who DOESNT - the people of Ukraine!

Freaking extortion.

He wants Elmo to be MORE aggressive? The guy could barely make a sentence yesterday.

Very satisfying until they start getting angry at the people they should be serving instead of the asshats harming their constituents.

Yesss! And the 64 pack of crayons was the holy grail.

I find it fascinating that, as an author writing about the demise of discourse, he is selective in with whom and how he accepts the very definition of “discourse.” It’s arrogant, unrefined, and counter productive to some of the points he’s trying to make.

This is the beauty and curse of military discipline. Many will just follow orders. I hope more though will stand up for the oath they took to defend this country from domestic threats - and I don’t mean we the people.

Yep but not “mouthy” educated women!

Many still think it won’t happen to them. They think Trump is just as capable of singling them out for their loyalty and letting no bad come to them. It’s the insidiousness of power-adjacent thinking, because it’s never true.

Disgusting. I hope every person in America realizes the white Christian Nationalist push to literally erase EVERYONE else who isn’t that and male. America, it’s long past time to read Project 2025 - what’s coming is the destruction of democracy and life as we know it.

Oh but “freedom of speech”, said the people spreading the misinformation and lies every second without pause. Personally, I’ll look back at “alternative facts” as a pivotal moment (for the worst) in our country. Time to bring back the Fairness Doctrine.

Probably the same person who had no idea who FDR was.

White Christian Nationalism at its peak. Lining up behind Bannon and Musk to wreck the Constitution.

One million percent - this is how it starts. Kash Patel on Steve “sieg heils” Bannon’s War Room. Even if old footage, he has been confirmed now.

Wow, congratulations - fantastic news! We appreciate you continuing to fight the good fight.

This is the unfortunate truth of too many generations of insulation from hardship.

If he truly gains the power he’s trying to steal from the agencies, the only voting will be 💯 compromised, if they’re even allowed. We’re 30 days in and he’s calling himself king, fgs. What are we doing TODAY that will ensure our democracy in 2026?
comment in response to post
Absolutely. Another horrific example was the official WH account posting deportation video footage. It’s awful and people have become dangerously desensitized.

And many of us learn overdeveloped loyalty the first time. The chronic moral ambiguity of people claiming to be good or do the right thing is devastating.

Next week, same headline with Trump and Misky.

Short of air-traffic control I can’t think of a more stressful job. It’s always and forever a game of defense, and the board always wants a scapegoat.

Seriously, this is just performative. He could have just cancel the cards but this makes a spectacle and has the same limiting result. They can’t do anything without performing for the base (usually lying) in an “oooh look what I did to own the libs” move. Ketamine, it’s a helluva drug!

Thank you for reinforcing what so many of us were warning about. The rampant sadism is the most frightening part of all of this.
