Hardly. They weren't perfect, certainly. They were as human as we are, and they were also men of their time and stature. Donald Trump would horrify them.

Worse, that's a better bet than a Boeing return trip. How far down that company has fallen! Ruined by a CEO who took tutelage from Jack Welch, a man who was badly mistaken for a business genius. Welch's pupil did to Boeing exactly what Welch did to General Electric.

The only thing the people of Gaza have left now is their rage. Generations of Israelis will come to know it. That is the legacy of Binyamin Netanyahu.

No. But, then, they didn't contemplate Americans ever electing someone so ethically and morally bereft to the Presidency like Donald Trump. Contemplation was less complicated in the 18th Century, it would appear.

OH! You visited Madam Tussaud's! He's melted a little since he was last put on display. No doubt, it was the warmth you showed him.

I asked the Universe for shit and that's exactly what it gave me. So, I can honestly say it happened. Often!

Unfortunately, it's impacts AREN'T fake. They're a clear threat to the national security of the United States. I also worry that, if we knew their backgrounds, we might be alarmed to find some have ties to a foreign adversarial state. NONE of them were investigated for security access!

At least he wasn't deported. Yes, U.S. citizens were deported during Trump's previous time in office. It's already happened again. www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/...

Pretty sure castration of the judiciary is covered early in the book "Becoming Dictator in a Day for Dummies". The chapter on that was written by another Trump mentor, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Grand Poobah of Turkiye.

Ukraine should say they don't accept the U.S. as representing their interests in negotiations. The U.S. has no right making deals for them. Trump and Putin's plan will be fried iif Ukraine will delegitimize the negotiations. If Trump loses his credibility with Putin, that would be 'helpful'.

Yes! Tariffs disproportionately savage the Middle and Lower classes. So, this is raping the Middle Class to offset the tax cuts for the 'Rich as Hell'. I'm surprised he never tried selling the snake oil theory once proffered that Tariffs could be used to entirely substitute for Income Taxes.

The purposeful destruction of the United States of America by the Russian puppet re-elected President continues.

I doubt the cartoonist knew that Putin actually takes baths in Dear Antler Blood for health. It's a Russian folk cure for cancer or to ward it off, I believe. www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-n...

OK, no problem. WHAT would Dem leadership DO?? Voters were told there was a danger doing stupid shit. They did it anyway. They demand Democrats fix it now? Well, HOW?? Some things, once done, are impossible to fix within the law! We're NOT fixing THIS legally. Storm the White House! ☝️

You've read the playbook. A judge's order is only as strong as the threat of Law Enforcement to back it up. Trump controls Federal Law Enforcement. He's not going to enforce the law on himself. "End of Game". TILT!
comment in response to post
Our plan was to tell people about the threat, how it could become realized, how democracy would vanish, and the importance of how they voted to preventing that outcome. People simply did not believe the danger existed. They do now! THAT'S a big plus. People are getting involved.

Self Loathing Self Flagellants. People with guns who shoot themselves. There's no explaining it.

Really? I didn't show up yesterday in the Democratic Party, but some did!

Shady Vance is a little slow. It's a good thing nothing is required of him.

I believe they worried about what DOGE would be doing while the government was on shutdown and employees were gone. The government absolutely WOULD have shut down.

Step down? For doing what, exactly? We elect people to make the best decisions they can in any situation. Schumer and the others did that. What Indivisible wants is, anyone not toeing the Progressive agenda to get out of their way. Sorry, there are 7 other wings in the Democratic Party.

Right? It's the best they can do.

Unfortunately, we have a 'first past the post', 'winner take all' election system. There's no power sharing as there is in a multiparty Parliamentary system. That's why we have a 'Two Party System' where one party is Majority 'in power' and the other is in the minority.

When these anti American Fascists with a love yen for Putin get done, we won't be able to find a damn thing the Russians are doing against us. Might as well invite them in to take over!

Just in time to piss off women for 'Women's History Month'. The whack jobs have really got a thing against women, don't they? I don't get it. They want lots of White babies, but they don't like women?? I've been on this planet TOO LONG.

I'm a lifelong Democrat. In the best of times, Democrats can appear leaderless in terms of direction and messaging. This is a "damned if you do or don't" situation. I agree with you after thinking hard on this, but Schumer worries about damage done and blowback from voters. All of us are right!
