Happy early birthday! Don't try to go walking tomorrow; the weather's going to be horrible with snow, ice, and bitter wind chills.

You left out "The Handmaid's Tale."

Well, the 2nd season episode "The Dirty Half-Dozen" led immediately into Age of Ultron. SHIELD got the intel on where Loki's scepter was located, which in turn led the Avengers to attack the Hydra base in Sokovia.

They don't consider Agents of SHIELD to be canon, even though it directly tied in to EVERYTHING through at least the first half of season 4 π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬

If you got your newest veteran's card in the last couple of years, that's all you need. You don't need a Real ID if you have that.

Once upon a time, many, many moons ago, my dad was the president of the Green Country sub-chapter for the Mid-America Chapter of the PVA here in Oklahoma.

MARK! You need to give the command for drivers to start their engines at the Texas NASCAR race. It's on Star Wars Day!

Oh hell, I forgot that the 24 at Daytona was this weekend. I've been too obsessed with The Clash next weekend.

Kevin is a gorgeous specimen of a male Betta. Your son is obviously conscientious about changing his water and keeping the bowl clean, and I can't detect any external worries in that beautiful picture. I used to be a pet care manager at PetSmart, so I know what to look for π₯°

I think the only thing they might have gotten wrong in Day After Tomorrow was the cold from the troposphere coming down to the surface and flash freezing everything in that spot.

I'm watching it on The Weather Channel, and they're saying it's less than half a mile from the intersection. It's burning over the hills in the area.

Dad is probably barrel rolling in his grave right now. He didn't do those 4 tours and spend 15 years in the Marine Corps for this country to turn out this way.

Before anyone asks, the coals didn't go to waste. It was late enough in the afternoon that Dad talked me through grilling steaks for dinner when Mom got home from work.

He couldn't do it himself because he was already a paraplegic from MS, but he did supervise me to make sure I didn't catch myself on fire.

Dad did 4 tours in Vietnam and grew up not far from NYC, in a little town called Hawthorne. He knew what Fred Sr was like but gave Donald the benefit of the doubt until he read "The Art of the Deal." After reading it one time, he told me to get the grill out, light some charcoal, and burn the book.

I still think the game plan is to get Trump in and get all his crazy cabinet noms in office, then 25th Amendment his ass so JD can finish out the term, then run on his own. If he wins two terms, that would probably give them 10 years in which to completely fuck up the country.

Mom's dog Missy. I'm not a dog person, so this is the only picture of her. The cat is Boots, whom I grew up with and crossed OTRB in late 1998.

He needs to cry harder. We already know that Alito and Thomas were thinking about retiring if Trump was elected. They're going to make damn sure they have at least a 6-3 majority for at the next 30-40 years.

Dad spent the last 13 years of his life in a wheelchair. At the end, he could use his arms and open and close his hands, but we had to cut up his food for him, and Mom had to sign the checks to pay the bills. At least he could still drive; his van had hand controls and a "suicide knob" on the wheel.

While you're at it, could you look into increasing widows' benefits, too? My mom doesn't even get half of what my dad got as a 100% SCD veteran. Right before he died, they were about to increase his benefits due to re-classification from paraplegic to quadriplegic because his MS was so bad.

The book that it's based on is really kinda dark. It's also much more adult than both the musical and movie.

And widows' benefits are AT MOST 50% of what the disabled veteran was receiving. This needs to change. My mom struggles with survivor benefits and Social Security. If she didn't have a reverse mortgage and I wasn't living with her, paying the utilities and giving her money, she wouldn't make it.

Had Joe stayed in the race and won, he wouldn't have done it, but now that he's leaving office, he doesn't need to worry about hoarding political capital. With Kash Patel possibly becoming FBI director and Bondi as AG, Hunter would have been put in Supermax just to torture the Biden family.

If I'm being lazy, just some salt. If I'm not being lazy, then I'll put a mix of shredded cheddar and Monterey jack cheeses and put them in the oven until the cheese melts. Yummmm!
