Not to mention that, because of the starkly similar tech, advanced geothermal gets to steal shale gas’ homework, and starts way up the slope of that industry’s existing learning curve.

Not to mention that nobody has time to individually evaluate the trustworthiness of every user’s personal domain. The value of the original blue check was as a simple visual indicator that an account had passed a standardized process, imparting some reasonable threshold of authenticity.

News today is that Marjorie Taylor Greene has been assigned to work with him on DOGE. I think I’d prefer the defenestration, personally.

And today there’s news of Marjorie Taylor Greene being tapped to work with them, too. If there’s anything that would make Musk hate life and immediately head for the nearest exit, it might just be having to deal with MTG.

Does that UK emissions chart include CO2 from biomass? @volts.wtf’s podcast on the topic (www.volts.wtf/p/whats-the-... ) opened my eyes to the fact that the UK emissions reporting is wildly skewed by categorizing biomass as renewable - substituting for coal, but net worse in terms of near-term CO2.

I’d suggest using a new account for @kitchener.ctvnews.ca, so you can keep @ctvkitchener.bsky.social parked to avoid impersonation. Super easy to setup the official domain handle, btw - just one TXT dns record: bsky.social/about/blog/4...

If it’s a Canadian company, CASL law makes that illegal (opt-in consent for marketing emails is mandatory). I’m guessing enforcement is non-existent, but you can report violators via fightspam.gc.ca.
