Is Pam Bondi still working on those Jeffrey Epstein redactions? This seems to be taking a while.

"Edmunds found that March 2025 represents the 'highest ever share' on record of Tesla trade-ins... "Teslas accounted for 1.4% of the cars traded in through March 15, up nearly 300% from the same month last year, when just 0.4% of trade-ins were Teslas..." www.huffpost.com/entry/tesla-...

The President is threatening to send anyone who burns a Tesla to the scary prison in El Salvador. Luckily, I've never burned a Tesla car and have no plans to. Clearly it's not a good idea! I do, however, plan to never ever buy one. Is that terrorism too?

The path back to power for the Democratic Party is to be the party that gets shit done.

From Above the Law, re Paul Weiss: “This bodes absolutely terribly for the industry. It’s an admission from one of the biggest and most powerful law firms in the nation that fighting a likely unconstitutional Executive Order in court just isn’t worth it.”

It is a sad day for the legal industry. Paul Weiss, didn't just bend a knee, it set a new standard for shameful capitulation. This is a stain on the firm, every one of its partners, and the entire legal profession.

Some things are becoming clear: This administration isn't invulnerable and they know it, which is why they're moving so fast. Dem leadership failed, their messaging of capitulation is counter-productive and they need to be replaced. There are many points of weakness to be exploited to stop the coup.

Wow. All but five states have lower GDP than the San Francisco Bay Area.

I don't know if you saw Chuck Schumer with Chris Hayes tonight...but....I have to believe they could have found someone more interesting to fill that spot with than Chuck. I don't want to hear a Goddamn thing from Chuck Schumer.

AOC is obviously the leader of the Democratic party. The time between now and when that becomes the reality, will very, very likely be more of the same tired appeasement tactics and sad sop losing.

I’m totally fine with deporting gang members who commit crimes who don’t have legal status. I just don’t want Tom Homan or an ICE agent grabbing anyone off the street and flying them to a prison in El Salvador while claiming they are all of those things with zero due process.

Dear Dems, Here’s the new assignment…👇 Get busy! Signed, Blue America 🇺🇸 You. Better. Get. Crackin’. 😎✨

Everyone’s too polite to say it in their “what Democrats should do to win elections” posts but the obvious answer is lie and make a bunch of crazy promises because most voters are morons

These are the same Senate Democrats who lectured the base for years about the importance of preserving the filibuster so it would still be available when Democrats were in the minority

If you saw video from the Edwards (R) town hall in North Carolina, you’re wondering as I am how much longer this can go on without devolving into general chaos. This fascistic, sociopathic administration is not going to stop running America into the ground—but Americans won’t put up with much more.

BREAKING: Millions of Americans have been betrayed by TEN SENATE DEMOCRATS who voted with Republicans to advance a GOP-crafted funding bill. Ultimately, the bill will give the Trump administration even greater control over the budget as Trump and Musk continue to dismantle and destroy the…

Cool so what happens if GOP attach a national abortion ban to a CR? You'll vote for that too? 🚮

Senate Democratic leadership essentially played dead today and greenlit the Trump-Musk-Vance coup. What is the point of the Democratic Party if it doesn't actually act like an opposition party? Hello?

The idea that Democratic senators can play this cute “just the exact right number of us voted for the bill so we could all vote against it and have it pass anyway!” game might have worked in a local-news driven era. But it fundamentally misunderstands the national media environment today.

I'm not going to sugarcoat it. Today was a bad day for our country – and for the Democratic Party. Let's talk about it. open.substack.com/pub/schiffno...

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House. We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication. They own what happens next.

Anyone framing the Democratic schism as "left vs right" should be discarded as either uninformed or disingenuous (which is what Politico's attempt to blame "the left" is). The key divide is between those who want to fight back forcefully - and those who cannot imagine anything but accommodation.

Yes. The answer is yes.

Congratulations to @schumer.senate.gov and the others who just played into the hands of an insane dictator who just said it's illegal for cnn and msnbc to criticize him

Alright fuck it. Who’s launching the democratic version of the Tea Party? I’m in.

Thank god Dems didn't give up that valuable weapon, the filibuster! How would they oppose this administration without it?

If Dems were unwilling to fight over cabinet nominees and unwilling to fight over the budget/shutdown, it’s safe to assume they’re not going to fight over anything.

When AOC and Adam Kinzinger are both furious at Chuck Schumer, for the exact same reason, maybe you need to give up the idea this is just a backlash coming from far left activists.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable. Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes. Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

Trump wanted to treat Gavin Newsom the same way as Zelensky when he flew out there. But Gavin met him on the tarmac and bodied him. And that was that. Because face to face, man to man, no bros around to back him up, Trump is the biggest coward on earth.
