Elon musk is suing the state of Wisconsin, in a case that will likely end up in the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Brad Schimel is running for a SCOWIS seat. Elon Musk, so far, has donated $6.2 million to Schimel’s campaign. Connect the dots. Fuck Oligarchy. Vote for Susan Crawford🤘

When you’ve lived it, you recognise it

Kitty Dukakis, an activist first lady of Massachusetts and humanitarian who was open about her struggles with addiction and depression, died on Friday. She was 88.

47 doesn’t care if your mom starves. Really. Neither does president musk. The goal to stop all payments & force everyone to reapply. To help ease this burden they’ve ended all telephone help lines and closed down hundreds of local offices.

“Anyone who likes or replies to the photos will be treated as a terrorist sympathizer. If you possess these images, delete them now. Elon Musk is a patriot with a great American hairline.” theonion.com/doj-des...

Can’t make this up.

Detained is legal limbo. Deportation means a person was sent back to the country they’re from. Sending people to El Salvador is state sponsored kidnapping.

HAPPENING NOW: Judge Boasberg has taken the bench as he weighs whether to vacate his restraining order on deportations under the Alien Enemies Act.

This feels plausible

The Trump administration has just removed a federal ban on contractors from having segregated restaurants, waiting rooms, and drinking fountains. This is a result of Trump’s executive order to combat DEI.

It is clear that some of us understand the present danger & some don’t! I stand by the NO vote on the blank check for Trump & Elon… I’ve got no explanation nor agreement with Senate Dems being complicit in Trump’s Tyranny.

By the way, amongst everything I just absolutely reject the “Dems are cowards!” Narrative. House Dems did their job. Many swing state Senates are opposing this. The only coward here is Senate leadership, and we should be very specific in calling them out.

*chuck schumer sits down to play chess* *lays down king* "good game!"

Republicans’ partisan spending bill turns the federal government into a slush fund for Donald Trump and Elon Musk. It’s unthinkable that any Senate Democrat would hand them a blank check by voting for cloture.

New Yorkers: Call Sen. Gillibrand’s office to vote NO on cloture and NO on the Republican Spending Bill. They vote in the morning. ☎️: (202) 224-4451

The current strategy of the Democratic Party sure sounds a lot like accelerationism. All gas and no brakes for Trump's agenda. Let it burn and then hopefully find popularity among the ashes.

Call each of these Senators to NOT vote with the GOP & instead grow a spine. Each number starts with 202-224 Schumer - 6542 Hassan - 3324 Peters - 6221 Durbin - 2152 Schatz - 3934 King - 5344 Shaheen - 2841 Fetterman - 4254 Cortez Masto - 3542 Gillibrand - 4451

The fight going on in the Democratic Party right now is not between hard left, left and moderate. It’s between those who want to fight and those who want to cave. And Team Fight stretches across all ideological aspects of the Party. Misread this at your own peril.

The US is no longer safe for foreign nationals. Do not come here. You risk being arbitrarily detained, tortured, and put into solitary confinement without due process.

This is getting ridiculous. Stop looking for a savior. You know who needs to stop this? YOU. All of us. The people who give a shit in this country. Anonymous is still leaking info and taking action. We never stopped. It’s not enough. People aren’t listening. It’s up to all of us.

The thousands of victims of Trumpism are out there. Democrats just need to find them—and be their champion.

The global boycott of US goods continues to grow. #3E “The United States is a country closing in on itself” Anger over threats and “the gangster-like behavior towards the Ukrainian president in the White House” apnews.com/article/denm...

Absolute junk. Just like the asshole who sells them.

Thank you for reminding us that the world has been worse, and that recovery was accomplished. Things will be better again.

What do you mean “if”?

The end starts with being able to say “how dumb WE are”

more evidence that typical left/center divisions in dems don't really matter as much as really whether or not you see yourself in a "normal" political environment

Grocery prices are soaring. Housing costs are skyrocketing. Retirement savings are plummeting. But Donald Trump thought today would be a good day to play car salesman.

The Los Angeles Public Library stores thousands of index cards with staff reviews of books dating back to the 1920s. A librarian explains how they were used and what we can learn from them today.

There's a scene from Falling Down where at the end of his terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day, a horrified Michael Douglas says, "I'm the bad guy?" After Trump's unforgivable betrayal of Ukraine, it's a question the United States should be asking itself. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...

Kleptocracy, all the way down. The U.S. will no longer enforce the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act which banned Americans from bribing foreign officials. Now, a database identifying the money launderers and oligarchs behind shell companies in the U.S. has been nixed.

I think there's some truth to this. The faster everything falls apart here, the sooner they can play out their narrative of "saving" humanity from itself. It's deeply sociopathic
