Breaking News: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered the Pentagon to halt offensive cyberoperations against Russia, officials said.

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F. 18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it. We made this website to tell our story: 18f.org

This is so fucking tragic. Today Europe is completely united behind Ukraine and the cause of freedom. Meanwhile the United States is sitting this one out along with Russia and Iran. Make it make sense.

Can confirm. Former USAID here, and I’ve been approached twice in the last 30 days.

As long as Elon Musk is running his mouth about Social Security—which he appears to be trying to understand in real-time—I’ll note that DOGE has yet to find a single instance of fraud across the entire government, as I reported for @atrupar.com this week. www.publicnotice.co/p/despite-th...

Squeaky bum time for Trump trades on.ft.com/41mLJSB

Interesting that Musk shows more respect, in terms of his dressing, when he is with the Chinese government than with the American government, but MAGA doesn’t care.

America, just in case you thought Friday went well here’s how the London Times saw it …..

Mass firings, shutting down critical services, blowing up our alliances, crashing the markets, encouraging inflation... These aren't the actions of a political party aspiring to get reelected. These are the actions of an authoritarian regime that does not intend to honor elections ever again.

Today on my LBC Sunday show I interviewed a former Trump adviser. She claimed that Putin wasn’t morally responsible for the war. I challenged her on that claim. She told me she didn’t like me and hung up. And they say the left are snowflakes. Watch the full interview here. youtu.be/tSsV7xyDyfY?...

The Mail, a staunchly right-wing newspaper in the UK, uses their Sunday edition to lambast ‘bully’ Trump and call for his state visit to be scrapped.

🇬🇧🇺🇦 "Did you hear people cheering you on the street? You can see the support. And we will support as long as it takes. We want long-term peace," — Starmer to Zelensky

I’ve always been skeptical of folks who say Trump is a literal ‘Russian asset’ or that Moscow has ‘kompromat’ on him, and the Russia obsession hurt the Dems in term one… but… how does anyone explain this? Justify this? How? t.co/ie1nWaL8ot

You stupid, opportunistic, traitorous bastards. You’ve all done such unforgivable harm to our country, risking our safety, prosperity and wellbeing in your nasty, populist cravings for power. You stink of him. Shame on you all forever.

Pretty much sums it up

Vance is already taking a vacation?

Keir Starmer to Ukraine’s President Zelensky in Downing Street: “I hope you heard some of that cheering in the street — that is the people of the United Kingdom coming out to demonstrate how much they support you, how much they support Ukraine and our absolute determination to stand with you.”

Eric got it…

Here I react to the shameful behavior of American leaders and media toward the Ukrainian president. No doubt there were more, but I saw five failures on our side: of hospitality, decency, democracy, strategy, and independence. Please watch and share. snyder.substack.com/p/five-failu...

Well now.

They are arguing, endlessly, that illegally inciting acts of terror online is ‘free speech’ while silencing dissent, targeting journalists & telling an invaded ally what he is & is not allowed to say during a live television broadcast are all fine.

After the absolute scenes in the White House yesterday, clearly the UK should be offering a state visit to Zelensky not Trump.

Dusting off my old Oxford English Dictionary and consulting carefully, I could not find "attack friends and submit to enemies" as a definition of the word "strength."

If it wasn't clear before Zelenskyy's meeting with Trump, it's crystal clear now, America is a hostile power to democratic countries. The US is on the side of far right authoritarians. If any nation is foolish enough to rely on the USA as an ally, America will stab it in the back.

More class in his pinky than Trump has shown his entire life.

Trump and Vance would NEVER, EVER, talk to Putin like that. And everyone knows it.

There it is! "Putin went through a hell of a lot with me. He went through a phony witch hunt." He is referring to them weathering their collusion becoming public, and now is the big payback: together until the end.

It's been obvious since January 6 that he was an enemy of the USA, the UK & the whole of the free world. Everybody still in his camp understands this as completely as everybody against it. They just prioritise personal interest over the national & international. And they know it. They all know it.

Unsubscribed -it was the last bit of the Bezos empire I reluctantly supported, (never use Amazon) as it had (until now) some great news reporting-but him dictating the content of the opinion section is a death knell of independent journalism-all has changed! www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Jeff Bezos will be censoring progressive opinions at the Washington Post. He says so himself today. So ditch the Post and support independent journalism: Zeteo.com/subscribe

Are we starting to see now? He's a madman. He's an idiot. An old man pissing himself in the corner of a room, muttering paranoid fantasies about his imaginary enemies. Ignore it until it happens. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Ten years ago today the Russian opposition politician & fierce Kremlin critic Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on a bridge opposite Red Square.

The Elon Musk backed pro-Russian candidate in Romania, Calin Georgescu has been arrested. Authorities raided him like the crook he is and found at least $10 million in cash and tickets to Moscow. He may have also bumped his head a little bit too.

Sounds like a plan:

The screens at the Department of Housing and Urban Development were playing this video this morning

Putin planned to take Kyiv in three days, but he couldn't take Kyiv in three years. The only way Putin wins now—the only way he finally succeeds in destroying Ukraine’s sovereignty—is by persuading Ukraine’s allies to abandon Ukraine. www.theatlantic.com/internationa...

Good morning 🌞

Today, on the third anniversary of Russia’s inhumane and illegal invasion of Ukraine, Plaid Cymru reiterates our unwavering support for Ukraine’s security and its sovereignty. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇺🇦

I remain in solidarity with the Ukrainian people, now three years into battling Russia’s brutal invasion. Putin is a tyrant, and his lies must not be amplified. The UK must do more: tighten sanctions, support refugees, and stand firm in defending democracy and Ukraine’s future.

For three years, the brave Ukrainian people have heroically defended their country against Putin’s war machine. Now, more than ever, we must stand firmly in support of our Ukrainian friends, resist Trump's stitch up with Putin and work with our European neighbours to defend freedom and democracy.

It would be sweet if we could get #Krasnov trending ;)
