Mmm, a potent blend of cabbage, raccoon farts, meat sweats, and ignorance.

Thank you. It's just nice to be acknowledged. And if you ever need to vent, I'm a good listener.

I've had a rough patch lately as well. For me it's nice to know people still see me, but not try to fix my problems...so just wanted to let you know i hear you and hope you can hang in there. If you need anything else, just ask.

The venom transforms you into a rotting ghost, too. Looking out from cloudy, unfocused eyes, floating, passing through life as if it wasn't even there.

So true. And even when there are laws and rules there are usually loopholes...leading us back to norms and honor being the only real guardrails.

Happy Thanksgiving, Glenn and Niloo! Thanks for all you do, Glenn. Your legal insight and commentary is hugely appreciated and so needed.

The boldness of these oligarchs should concern us all. The corruption is so obvious.

Seems like an obvious step towards a full-blown plutocracy. The oligarchs are becoming more bold and that's a scary thing. They now know there's little we can do about their brazen corruption and influence.

So he thinks his children have a mental disorder for voting the way they did and he wonders why they're not speaking to him? Self-awareness much?

Modern life, technology, and corporate greed have all pushed us to seek conveniences wherever we can. I just wish there was more of a balance, where we could pick and choose where and when to spend money/time and enjoy a more chill existence.

Honestly it's the mental shift required for everyone out there that's tough. Pay more for American-made products. Quality over convenience. Repair don't replace. You don't need the new version every single time...we're such a hyper-consumer society that won't be easy to change.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm digging it so far!

True. I remember a year or two ago when Miggy was bagging goals left and right and we were on a tear, then an international break and we came back flat and couldn't score. I assumed Gordon would be ready to go on a tear, but he's been off his game, too.

Is it just me or does Bruno not seem as creative or daring this season? He used to be brilliant at cutting passes through or over the defense. Now he mostly just cycles the ball. Something just feels different. Maybe it's that Isak is the only one finding space?

I think Smith did the best he could given the timeline and the endless motions and garbage he had to swim through. Garland is just another political elite helping to cover for other elites.

Seems like we can't decide if we want to be a possession team or a counter attacking team...but overall I'd say the players let Howe down tonight rather than the other way around.

Hmm, is it that it's looking like billionaire's row and a bunch of sycophant tv personalities? I'm sure that can't be it...

Any reset away from our neoliberal, consumerist hell will be expensive and disruptive. We should slowly try to rebuild our manufacturing base here and make products that don't need to be replaced every year. But these tariffs aren't the answer.

It's corporate media, and their mandate is profit over truth and fairness. All the sanewashing and bothsidesism is a joke and erasing what it means to be a journalist.

Elon will deregulate the industries he's in. Trump will absolutely give exemptions on tariffs to his oligarch pals. Diane Hendricks of ABC Supply (building supplies) and other big national companies will certainly get exemptions as she donated tens of millions to his campaign.

The influence of the America First Policy Institute on Trump and his policies and cabinet picks. So far two picks from this organization. They donated something like $20 million via a PAC to his campaign as well.
