Would Putin then demand the other half?

I hope none of that is true. Apart from anything else Ukrainians need much more time to renegotiate it, scrutinise it very carefully as Trump cannot be trusted and to consult the Ukrainian population to see if this is what they want. This is not how allies treat each other.

I would 'love' it more if the US wanted to negotiate a proper commercial deal rather than a bloodless invasion of a sovereign state, under cover of reparations, where Ukraine signs an open ended deal only the US benefits from. Utterly disgraceful. No correlation between money spent and to be repaid.

Mine would be one not being held and frightened by a human. Please let them go. I can't see a valid reason for this.

I would love that to be true but I don't believe it.

Why does anyone think that if the Ukrainians give up their mineral rights to Trump this will stop Putin invading again in another year or two? Surely a very naive view. In addition this is something Valenskyy must be very wary of deciding without consulting his people. It's 1/2 their resources.

Just as long as Bluesky finds methods and processes to keep the bots and the trolls away. There must be effective guardianship of users. Complaints need to be taken seriously, wrong doers identified, reported to the police of their countries and permanently removed from this platform.

Great decision. Trump is behaving in a totally immoral, unethical fashion. Trump can hardly complain when Zelenskyy's action is compared to steps taken by trump since taking office.

Initially I thought this meant staff weren't allowed private subs. I'm sure that will come but not quite yet.

Maybe he lost them rather than sending in a human wrecking ball to obliterate the govt and all non Musk industries. Every time I see Musk's mad face I want to scream. I am British but I know the saying that what starts in America soon comes over here is regrettably true.

British eggs are so much cheaper than American ones and we have started improving welfare stds by getting rid of battery chicken farms it's miles off perfect but it's a start.

I watched sky news UK late one night as he was signing multiple EOs and simultaneously held a press conf. He signed off misery for 000s without flinching. A very frightening spectacle. I can see why he is sacking so many govt employees, he doesn't need them. He decides everything and signs an EO.

Surely, when Americans listened to Trump on the campaign trail they heard his plans and realised voting republican would not protect their jobs? He told them exactly what he planned.

This is what is required, model surgeries for others to study and see if they can transfer it to their location, demographic etc. and have real quantifiable results.

I clicked like but realised I wanted more info. How will this be implemented? Will it be a GP or someone else working in the surgery? Nurse? Dr's assistant? Receptionist?
Will the Lib Dems reform GP contracts? Will they make them employed by the NHS? @libdems.org.uk

Let's hope German citizens are more aware of the dangers of right wing politics than American citizens. They should be. They're definitely better educated. Are they more far sighted? Let's hope they are more able to learn from their own history.

The only advantage the world has over Trump compared to Hitler is that he is an old man. However beware his successors.
How long before the law/constitution is changed so Musk can be nominated as successor or will Trump be too scared of him?

As you say they could and probably were written in Moscow. If Trump had been a normal citizen in 1950s America, he would have been hauled before the House unAmerican activities court (the McCarthy one - sorry can't remember what it was called). They'd have sent him to prison and thrown away the key.

Totally misread that and inserted shedding for sledding! I knew a couple of huskies and could they shed! I thought your daughter had found a way to get the dog to do it like a snake, all at once!! Laughed myself silly! 🤣🤣🤣

Working on this hypothesis does that mean that if Mexico or Canada threatened the US with invasion unless it handed over 20-25% of its land that America would readily agree? I wonder how Americans would take that?

I hope you report him to the police for non contact sexual assault. If he is behaving like this with you there are probably other victims. Only by reporting every instance of this kind of crime will the police be forced to recognise the level of offending.

More to the point why exclude Ukraine the country and people who have been systematically robbed, raped, killed, plundered and would have been humiliated haf it not been for the Ukrainian people led by President Zelensky.

Not keen on any but the last which I am all for. I live in lincs and do not want the county covered in pylons. we have a lot of tourism here and need the county to retain its beauty. It would also protect the infrastructure from adverse weather partly caused by climate change.

How is this anything to do with Trump unless he is more closely aligning with these sexual predators than most of his American supporters would approve of. Trump is acquiring close toes with very peculiar people.

I think one of the messages should be if you work for Musk in any capacity, start job hunting or you may find yourself out of work.
