No, the Canadian government does not import and sell all of Canada's liquor. Instead, liquor is imported and sold by provincial liquor boards and commissions.
There are 10 provinces & 3 territories and liquor is provincially regulated by a Board. Elected Premiers can direct policy of the staffed, independent Board.
LOL Sounds very close to a Shithead, an imaginary drink we made up one night having a contest to design the worst possible cocktail ingredients. It was tequila and Yoo-Hoo with a sprig of onion...
I have been having "bourbon/maple" flavored coffee in the morning. If I run out I do have actual bourbon and real maple syrup, and I know how to use it. π
Vancouver bartenders can whip up anything from Bloody Caesars to any rum, gin, vodka or scotch drink. We prefer French, Australian, Argentinian, Canadian, Italian and Chilean wines. Iβm missing a ton, but you get the picture!
As someone who grew up in Detroit, Windsor had a lot of great bars. Just whip through the tunnel in 5 minutes. A different era since 9/11 (need a passport now). After Trump who knows???
Just heard the head of US Distillery organization on CNN saying they are worried but they think Canada will really hurt not getting US whiskey. . I highly doubt that. Stay strong Canada don't fold to him.
How about Canadian Club on the rocks made from the largest supply of pure clean water on earth. Don't fk with Canadian Whiskey. Maple syrup goes great on crepes w/strawberries. So Canadian Club on the rocks & a huge bowl of Quebecoise Poutine & crepes a la fraises. Cheers eh! We can survive can U.
Donβt worry about the coffee prices, I saw a red hat saying heβll just buy Italian coffee to teach Colombia a lesson. Just follow his example and itβll be all right!!! π
Mexico makes rum too. Juice from half a lime, 1/2 ounce of maple syrup or a bit more of you like it sweeter, and 1.5 ounce of rum. Shaker with ice, pour and enjoy. Amazing. As a Canadian I still use a shot glass to make my drinks for some reason. Go figure eh!
Actually do a spin on it thatβll ruffle maga feathers

A lot of yall drink crown royal, but your focused on Mist. Its like if Canada said PBR was the best here, IF they drank our beer. I'm sorry. As an American, other counties beers DO have better flavor, not just overpowering hops.

Caesar. It's a Canadian invention similar to a Bloody Mary. Clamato with Vodka (Ukrainian for me) with celery stalk, hot sauce, seasoned salt on the rim. Try it.
I think if Canada wants solidarity abroad, it should certainly display it toward Mexico and buy their goods (and other Trump victims, but especially them)
My personal order of preference goes 1) Produced by Canada 2) Made in Canada (and Canadian or non- US owned) 3) non US product 3a) US owned but by women or person of colour

now, i'll cede that the isles all do us in on whisky proper; what's this about frenchmen and a cask? Do they not cry at the thought of a cask laying unkissed by a foot-pressed must?
Beer, yeah they got it.
Whisky? Not from the folks who brought us Ortolan, no sir. Bourbon is overrated, not bad.
My fave cocktail is an Austin special. Mexican martini. Itβs tequila lime juice agave nectar & triple sec. Thinking Iβll change the agave to maple syrup. Then shake w ice pour in martini glass w a rim of salt & maple crystals. It just became 5pm at my house. Yum yum
I've noticed there is WAY too much of that here on bluesky. I'm not sure if they think they know better or think they are superior in some other way, but I get it often enough that I wonder how these people got this far in life.
Whiskey, apple liqueur or brandy, and maple syrup. Vanilla vodka, amaretto, and maple syrup. Whiskey, vanilla vodka or amaretto, and maple syrup. The options go on!
The only drinkable hard liquor I ever had in US, was an apple jack from one of βmicro distilleriesβ in Seattle. I think Canada will do just fineβ¦ unlike US, they can enjoy cognacs, brandies and whisky from Europe without paying 25% tariffs.
