I know there’s a boycott today, but - I supported my local record store, spent cash, and bought records where the artist gets a lot more of the money than if I had bought online/streamed it, so I don’t feel guilty about it. I needed the dopamine rush.

🍦Ice cream from an incredible small business.
🍗Chicken from a fabulous small restaurant.
🎙️Husband bought some albums from a small local emporium.
If the entire world (sans the Commie Dictators) pitches in to fuck Putin up we can do this together. No amount is too small.
Also AFAIK the one-day boycott wasn't even proposed by established, experienced organizers anyway.
I don't think this was a well thought out plan at all.

You seem to be friends with your local record store.
Support for local business is no sin, especially if they support people who are resisting. The network needs to be self-reinforcing if it is to be sustainable.
no regrets
I needed pants. But also found a shirt for my mum.

So let’s drive up profits for the good guys while tanking the bad guys profits.

We're heading out to a local independent restaurant in just a few!
Felt like I did some contrition for the MFers at the White House today trying to act like they were the shit.
