A while back I mentioned I helped to build a government AI tool. DOGE "deleted" (fired) my whole org (@alt18f.bsky.social) and took the tool to become their "AI-first strategy."
But what is the strategy? What are they actually planning to do?
Iβm trying to piece it together. Hereβs what I think π§΅

Trump rewards those who grovel and cave to his threats. Why?
When I humiliate myself, I sacrifice my sense of self, of who I am. I make 'me' small, which makes him seem big.
This soothes his broken ego and builds the illusion of his greatness.
Witnesses to this amplify the effect.
I think this is b/c they see being wrong as bad as opposed to a learning opportunity to correct course. It's a personal failure that they can't accept so they ignore it.
They don't see people - they instead see us as monsters to avoid the truth: They're looking at a mirror and they're the monsters.
Is all that data sharing going to take place only when citizens explicitly agree?
Totally credible and legally horrendous.

This Orwellian nightmare might bury its way into US/UK tariff/trade talks given Starmerβs AI infatuation and US tech companiesβ global ambitions.

They steal all the data they can to train evil Nazi AI Grok
The AI Race is over! Nazi Elon won!
The implications are huge!
I tried to warn all AI companies last year but they did not listen!
Mine will not be a charitable interpretation. In this thread I attempt to read between the lines of vague statements and extract an educated guess at the Administration's plans for AI. That guess will be pessimistic, because everything Iβve seen up to now makes me pessimistic.
"As you think about the future of AI, in order to think about using any of these tools at scale, we gotta get our data in one place"
No. Hereβs Ehikianβs underling, Thomas Shedd, speaking at the debut of the "AI-first strategy" in February. Shedd says they plan to connect https://Login.gov, a GSA system, to "social security or any other government system."
In particular, all "government information on individuals" will be centralized to "detect and prevent fraud" at https://Login.gov. Let's dig into that!
I was assigned to https://Login.gov's anti-fraud team from July 2022 to April 2023. Among other things, I led a data source feasibility investigation.
Why not?
