Given the despot in charge over there, if were closer to him then we'd be extremely vulnerable to his mood swings and peeing contest.
It would be better as:
"Would you prefer the UK followed 🇪🇺 values on the rule of law, citizens rights & mobility or 🇺🇸 values.
That would mean people would be thinking about their own values and also what would be required to have such a policy.
We were robbed of our EU citizenship without our consent & my direct line are effectively 2nd class citizens to many in this country who have been able to obtain EU citizenship even though some voted to remove EU from my direct line with their Brexit vote
Proximity / Aligned regulations on everything / food standards / tastes etc.
Not seeing much about it.
We know what sort of people still like Trump/Musk and we know why we’ve migrated over here.
Brexit was the most stupid isolationist position taken by a nation. We need to be in the EU, but not sit on the fence in it like we did for 40 odd years.
So bad in fact that i bet it's responsible for some people voting for the US 😁
You cannot negotiate with that.
Nothing else makes any sense
The only way to go.
1) EU is much closer to us
2) We cannot trust the US. Every perception we have about the US from our lives so far needs to change. It is a chaotic, isolationist entity
3) Together with the EU, we can stand up to the US. On our own: no chance
The EU is firm in looking after members' interests but is reliable.
