When "get angry at 'The Dems'" becomes your whole thing and you attack a state Senator for trying to pass legislation to help protect trans people... JFC

Republicans have the House, the Senate, and the White House because not enough Americans voted for Democrats. The damage is already done; there is No Weird Trick to fix this shitshow.
Yea I had someone try to quote me to attack a representative for spreading a severe weather warning. In fact just yelling at people without any regard for context is not helpful
This is literally the time to introduce a bill to protect trans people, that guy is a dumbass. Ideally the protections would have been put in place years and years ago, but the second best time is now.
after pondering this for a moment I wonder if they think he’s a federal senator introducing a messaging bill that won’t pass. still a really funny comment
It is dismaying seeing legitimate criticism of people like Schumer turn into this low-information vibe of "No Dems anywhere are doing anything and they're all bad". It seems like a great way to keep losing elections
Scott Wiener is not “the dems”. He’s a specific politician, representing the specific City and County of San Francisco (and one suburb, I believe). He is on here and posts quite a bit. Here, go look. 🤷♀️ @scottwiener.bsky.social
This has by no means been the first time that people have complained loudly about inept and feckless Dems. But I have yet to see the Dems respond by turfing overly cautious septuagenarians out of their leadership positions
Obviously, Dems deserve all the criticism people can throw at them, and calling/writing your Congresscritter does frequently yield some kind of response
But if you're hoping that yelling at an actually effective state senator will do anything to shake Chuck Schumer out of his myopia, I'm at a loss

I'm totally okay with some good incumbents getting swept up in it if it means we can purge the do-nothings.
But has that ever happened?
