Just got an ad on Twitter for a product to help you steal someone's sperm from a discarded condom for artificial insemination, so business there is going very well

Finally deactivated my account just before Thanksgiving and so glad to be rid of that place. I miss the old bird app but couldn’t condone staying any longer after his antisemitism pushes and bringing back the horrible that were previously banned for good reasons.
Is that ad... who is it for? Seems more like something designed to get people mad more than actually be purchased in any quantity enough to justify running the ad in the first place!!
There's a vein of MRAs specifically terrified of women "spermjacking" them and getting pregnant without their consent / not getting abortions; it's a deranged way to feel threatened by women while still projecting virility. The targets are loud. Force multipliers for related arguments if engaged.
That you didn't jump to the idea of an "always *drink the contents*" movement shows either incredible restraint on your part, or a lack of imagination regarding Taint. 😆
True. I do believe though, that many of Andrew Taint's followers will eventually find the manliness they crave through gay sex. But punctuated with lots of, "No homo!", because they aren't actually gay, let's be real. 😉
I'd normally feel billionaires suing small businesses over copyright might be a bit petty, but Taylor would be doing the world a favour there, I think.
It's been interesting to watch. Twitter's function as a reliable news source and my time as a reporter came to an end at about the same time. I'm still plugged in to an extent, but tracking developments would definitely be harder now.
and they claimed I was paranoid for paying someone to jerk off into the decoy condom i left in the trash. (the used one i kept hidden in a secret pocket of course.)
I have a browser extension that hides all tweets from Twitter Blue users, so I don't see any of these vulgar, stupid ads. I highly suggest everyone else install it as well.
There's someone putting sperm donation adverts around the Gay Village in Manchester. I had a shufty, for £950 (plus travel) you can have some random bloke's jizz
That’s fucked up! It’s both teaching women who’d trap using a baby and feeding incels and psychos that there’s a sizable market of women who do shit like this. Calls into question women’s core credibility on anything reproductive. I need to bleach my cells. 🤢🤮
it does not, in fact, call anyone's credibility into question, except the person behind the ad. the only people dipshitted enough to believe it's a real thing were already violently misogynistic.
How do they get that way? Could it be an abundance of messages adding fuel to misogynistic beliefs and tropes lending official looking credibility for those budding young recruits.
It does, in fact, put pregnant people’s credibility in question. It adds credence to the idea it’s manipulation.
no, actually. we've all been bombarded by the same misogynistic system, but we're not all out here accusing women of stealing jizz to cram up various orifices to entrap men.
For one thing, you are simply incorrect. For another thing, blaming women, or any individual woman, or even a dogshit woman with awful behaviour, for the misogynistic actions of men is misogyny.
just goes to show that when you throw out your trust and safety team, let everyone who can afford $8 a month buy a verified checkmark, endorse Nazis and transphobes, and generally let everything go to total shit, you wind up with this kinda shit
That thing I've said about scifi and fantasy about how intentionally making someone reproduce against their will is a form of rape? It's not just science fiction I guess

Waiting for Andrew Taint to start an "Always Keep the Condom" movement in 3, 2, 1...
Blue tick account. 13 followers, obviously.
The algorithms apparently missing how one of my most engaged with posts this year was about [checks notes] my wedding day!

Never said these things impact ALL people the same way nor that the specific accusation is the fundamental concern. Why argue?

End civilisation now ☄️
Otherwise, how does this even cater to twitter’s current misogynist chud demographic?
