I learned that lesson just after graduating from U of Miami when Communications was what the Entertainment Industry was what it was. It was-is WHO you knew than WHAT you knew and have a recognized agent and manager who can pimp you out for work! LOLL😁

Lol. My writing teacher told me not to give up until I could paper my room with rejections. So I kept sending off my work with no expectations. I collected 4. Then I got published. Never did paper a room.
To be fair, I get rejected a lot less these days and while I would love a much more lucrative career, I'm still very fortunate. And I still work damn hard. The original skeet remains true nonetheless.
Imagine having books in your personal library that were written by authors you, for some reason, have memories of their lives & seeing into those lives as if they were your past lives. This includes knowing things about them that you yourself don't have reason to have knowledge of
