Even thinking with intent is something. The seed is planted. It just needs time to grow. Give it time.
Art seems endless cause you know it's gonna take 30+ hours to finish it.
But when you push through and achieve something. It's easier to do it again.

I have so many bad habits deeply rooted it's difficult to even start getting rid of them π I'm the "right here and right now" person, if it takes long I tend to drop whatever it is... awwwful
it doesn't necessarily have to be an exact time, it could just be relative to other things
if that doesn't work and i'm really not feeling it, then i just stop for the day and it's fine

also, i usually post my bunnies (cartoon characters for a comic i wanna make) on my account. find em there. it's about someone with a grimoire of fate (pictured is the deurotagonist i'm drafting)
Vyvanse or at least some vitamin B has lowkey helped me.
Also, forgive yourself for the occasional off days, but don't let them become the norm.
If you do start, you'll be more likely to carry on.
1) leave your guitar out on a stand or a wall hook so you can just pick it up on a whim
2) give yourself permission to just make pretty sounds, whatever that means to you

Here's a good one I follow.
If you still want to stream movies then today is not the day.
Ceilings: work out for an hour. Play guitar for an hour. Draw something that you love.
Floors: walk for five minutes. Hold your guitar while you watch a movie. Take a photo of something you will draw later.
Just showing up is enough.
Doesnβt have to look good. Just for myself and for the purpose of making SOMETHING.
Drew a Gojo mii one day. Drawing a PokΓ©mon right now :P
It'll be cathartic.
