The British don’t understand that the 30% are behind an Iron Curtain of Media and Peer groups. They never see the flaws because they’re flooded out by propaganda.
While this is entirely fair, I'm not sure how I feel about being lectured by the people who fell for Brexit because a conservative white guy told them they would invest all the savings in public health
Like, if Ted Cruz was telling us to vote to pull out of NATO so we could invest all that money in our inner-city public schools I'm fairly confident that a majority of Americans would see through the elaborate ruse
Just as we really can't criticize the Brits for voting for Brexit, a glaringly obvious catastrophe, because of Trump, they really can't criticize us for Trump because of Brexit.
Yeah I used to work as one of the few Americans in an organization dominated by British expats, most of whom loved taking the piss. Hired right at the end of Trump's presidency. Not one made fun of us over him, because Boris took power even after the Tories showed how abject they were.
Also worth noting that “nice” does not equal good or kind. A fact that was drummed home for me living in the South for many years and growing up within religious fundamentalism, which puts a premium on being “nice.”
Additionally, a lot of the not so nice Americans don't travel abroad as cultural education is not typically valued in those political circles, at least in my experience.

„He is a weak man's idea of a strong man, a poor man's idea of a rich man, and a stupid man's idea of a smart man."
I wouldnt call a child throwing tantrums "strong", and yet... Unlike him kids can learn and grow still
The Beckham of boors
The Churchill of cunts
The Earhart of evil
The Frampton of fakers
If only...
Sadly, they tend to go hand in hand because eventually, the stupid run into their limitations and get angry at the world rather than themselves
And their attention only fuels his antics.
