Had the displeasure of watching The Seed.
And then had a crave for Phineas and Ferb (Probably because of the new upcoming season this year).
Weird #LetterboxdFriday this week! Almost done with the F&F movie rewatch with a friend, watched a cheap "québécois" F&F inspired movie and Conclave which was great!
Watched a few more films this week that counted toward my Criterion Challenge (I’m almost halfway there!) including a couple of Akira Kurosawa films I hadn’t seen before.
I never knew Kurosawa could be funny. Yojimbo was a delight.

The theme is there is no theme. We are all hurtling through space on a very small rock, constantly moving away from the center of the universe. We should all just watch what we want to watch.
The Mummy is a fantastic choice. Also, the science classes across the hall from mine are watching Interstellar this week, thought you would appreciate that.
It’s certainly not like the trailers made it look. It’s a much more dry sense of humor and with expert themes of class warfare in relation to capitalism. It slows down a bit in the middle there, but the performances were enough to keep me going. All in all, a great movie that has been mismarketed
I think honestly, I would have given it a 3.75 if I could, but Ieaned toward 4 because I like Bong Joon-ho and it was nice to see him take some stylistic risks
Creepy more than lived up to its title, but the week's win goes to Z for Zachariah. If I'm facing the end of the world as we know it, I would much prefer to face it in an idyllic valley with Margot Robbie.

Two of these are perfect. One is really good when it's being good. And one takes huge swings and either knocks it out of the park or is a magnificent miss.
