The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said Americans should hunt and cook nutrias, an invasive semiaquatic rodent species found in marshy areas, to help curb their population.

O.K. Well we've just read that eating marmots, another rat like rodent species, runs the risk of getting bubonic plague, so is this reported advice coming from the worm addled brain of the RFK jr idiot now in charge of promulgating healthy living advice to the nation.
How about keeping an eye on your articles about Trump and sane washing him? How about the fact that work on the brink of collapse and Trump is allowing Elon Musk to get our country
It's actually the first way to eradicate an invasive species
Maybe better for pet food than human consumption, can't see many people willingly eating them things, most people won't even eat snakes let alone big rat looking m************
Here in Italy we have thousands of them. It's a big problem. They could be dangerous in the country streets, if you hit them with your car, due to their big bodies.
I know, I can't recall where, somebody tried to eat nutrias, and they say it's a good meat. Nah, not my cup of thea.
To be fair, they are SUPER destructive. They were brought in to Louisiana from South America for the fur trade and planted a damn flag. 😆 We've been overrun for decades. We called them swamp beavers when I was a kid. They are super cute to me and I'd likely never eat one.
No thanks, I'll pass.
On the other hand, what about Muskrats? They're similar, and aren't they an invasive species, too? I've heard many of them burrow into and infest USG agencies.
We won't have to worry about bears invading more urban spaces & attacking people, or packs of coyotes getting bigger and more vicious, or weird fish emptying all the trout and salmon from our streams
Like bird flu it will still be going on, we just won't be warned
Hmmm Marmots next eh @maddowblog.msnbc.com

There is a tremendous amount of them there.

I recall eating beaver and muskrat stew while living in villages on Alaska's Yukon River.
While you're waiting for egg prices to come down, you may want to try this.
Hey, if it doesn't taste good you'll have a Seinfeld reminiscent souvenir for no additional cost. Eggs can't do that!
