"Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive. No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief." - Chris Murphy (read his summary below)
I don't like the anti-ai sentiment.
It's like keeping the harpsichord and not adopting the piano.
Artists will adapt, or not.
Change is inevitable.
AI art is pretty inventive and easy af.
I don't like seeing my dream career be threatened by computer generated slop, it's incredibly shallow, and it's not as hard to draw as people make it out to be. Art at it's core is about expression and having fun, two things a computer can't do.
Idealism is a vice and a virtue of the young, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
It's just a tool. Humans still control the input and output.
Until shit gets dark and we don't.
I mean you can forgive yourself for the signs being held by penguins, as someone could easily photoshop that if they chose to.
The ai vs talented editing vs talented digital artwork is a serious struggle sometimes, and it's often still the typos or ai generated pseudo letters that are the quickest
I feel sorry for Tasmania, they always get left out. Norfolk island, Keeling Cocos Islands, Heard and Mcdonald islands all got tarriffed but Tasmania was just lumped in with the rest of Australia.
This is appeal to 40% of the country; he’s just like them. The rest that voted for him are just not ever going to vote for a Democratic candidate no matter what.
Super cute, but also a distraction while they try to make him our dictator. In the House, they are deciding if they should give him unchecked powers (NORRA). The courts would no longer be able to block his illegal actions.
At first I was annoyed with the misspelling, and then I realized it was by design, and even better than that, it was representative of my process for going through several variations of the spelling of this particular word before getting it right (most of the time).

... Then again I guess they spell pretty darn good for penguins.

Then that 1% of my working brain chimed in with, "No shit, maybe penguins holding signs should've been your first clue."

I mean, in their defense it's "tariff" which is a terrible spelling
