As a dude in his late 30’s who recently got back into making art, I am here to tell you:
IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO CHASE YOUR PASSION.
GET AFTER IT.
IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO CHASE YOUR PASSION.
GET AFTER IT.
Comments
(I also went back to college in my 30s and changed my career away from art, so, you're right anyway).
Do what you love
Love what you do ✌
I might not have passion for it, but I will enjoy returning to it.
Let's gooo!
YOU’RE RIGHT!
I didn't pursue music like I wanted to when I was younger and then lost a lot of my 20s to covid. But I've jumped back into it and the communities, connections, and growth has all been worth it.
Appreciate you homie
I am 35, I started writing last year and enroleed in film studies degree program!
Also: travel / outings, draw stuff instead of taking photos. You'll remember 100x more and treasure those sketchbooks for life.
“There’s such a thing as an artists life, and it is one that is worth living.” - Roger Guenveur Smith
Life is a journey, not a destination
you're the most inspiring meltdown I've ever met
THAT IS EASY FOR YOU TO SAY, GUY IN YOUR 30’S
Just sayin
Even if it's just that, don't give up your power to anyone. It's yours. USE IT!!!
Last year, I said fuck it. If I'm going to be under dirt in a few decades, I'm going to write. It's what's made me feel alive.
