I must rep an up and coming rapper; this is a single off her first album. She calls herself the daughter of rap, more power and life to her: J Noa! https://youtu.be/UprY1TzqThw?si=xeprp6PAQ24F5GiR
The Japanese House - In the End It Always Does
The Lemon Twigs - A Dream Is All We Know
Maggie Rogers - Don’t Forget Me
St. Vincent - All Born Screaming
(Forthcoming and highly anticipated)
Ethel Cain - Perverts
Tori Amos - Diving Deep (live album)
Jakub Zytecki - 2020 (Live) -one of my favorite guitarists as a guitar player myself, it's a live in studio type of deal, very high quality-- a very interesting mix of dreamy understated pop vocals, ethereal and progressive guitar that is technical but also atmospheric, and some colors of heavy metal
☆Lauv – Because Of You
☆Jake Miller – Dream You Up
☆POESY – Dying To Live
☆Sam Fender – People Watching
☆FKA Twigs & Koreless – Drums Of Death
☆Zedd & Bava – No Gravity
☆Forrest Frank - THE PRESENT
I actually would love to counter and ask about what you’re listening lately? You are the person who got me into Jamie XX and Frank Ocean and i got hooked
There's very little music I can think of that sounds as fresh and beautiful and full of life as Aurora's does. And she writes THE best choruses I've ever heard across her entire discography.
i've been listening a lot to machinedrum's new 3FOR82_D3LUX3 lately!
has some pretty good highlights in there - U_WANT, ZOOM, GODOWN, especially RISE and the new BREATH and OK! make me feel like life maybe is worth living after all. give it a listen :)
Huge K-pop fan here so I’m going to throw out groups, no not the one everyone knows. SHINee, NCT (all the sub units), Girls Generation, f(x), Red Velvet, Amber Liu, EXO, NELL and one non-kpop Penn Masala. Look for the B side stuff, some seriously fun music going on.
I tend to listen to the playlist to help concentrate on work, so wouldn't want to stray from that.
For TANO*C, all I can find is hardcore. I checked out a bit of miso-nicomi and maybe some of their jungle/DnB tracks could work. Camellia seems generally way heavier than the tracks on the playlist.
my favourites albums from ‘24 so far have been from The Bad Ups, The Bellrays, Cherym, The Courettes, F.O.D., Green Day, The Lovely Eggs, Millie Manders & The Shutup, Pet Needs and Pinhead Gunpowder for what it’s worth
Hi Dan. Been a few years for me since I’ve seen your music posts. Like, I’m talking as far back as Igor. What’re your highlights from the last few years?
Judas Priest's Invincible Shield is outstanding. Think it would get my vote as best album of the year. Incredible how good Rob Halford's voice still sounds
Everything but the girl - Walking Wounded
Vince Staples - Dark Times
Ali Sabah - Yamama
Joseph Solomon - The Covers
The Vernon Spring - A Plane Over Woods
honestly it's rare that i'd find an album a 10 throughout (nor do i expect them to be).
nox vahn, marsh - come together
ketty lester - love letters
organ tapes, swimful - joyride
patricia wolf - psychic sweeping
wisp - tangled dreams
rubina - joe satriani
spencer the rover (live) - john martyn
the re-stoned - where does this road go?
byron the aquarius - feel my thoughts bruh
debbie ft. lucky daye - is this real love?
leon thomas - vibes don't lie
Dan, I'm working on an article, mostly dedicated to why Bsky is better than X in terms of UI/UX, but also it would be good if I put a section about the distribution/decentralization thing.
I'll re-watch your video, but may I DM you some questions and illustration to check if it's correct?
