Apparently, USAID spends 2 billion dollars a year on rice, lentils and other grains/pulses produced by US farmers, so the Trump/Musk junta has just shafted thousands of US citizens, many of whom were probably Trumpsters.

Especially since it is a repeat of his last term; we ended up supporting farmers for 4 years bc of their loss of sales due to his policies, and i doubt if they broke even. Not sure they ever got their former customers back.

The farmers definitely were. During his first administration, Trump had to bail out soy farmers who were almost destroyed by China and other Asian countries retaliating against Trump’s tariffs. They still voted for him again. (At least here in Indiana).
