Man, that collared coat in the first picture is so nice. But $3,000+ for a coat just isn't reasonable for the average person. Would love to see a more reasonable alternative for a shlub like me.
Beautiful work but I’m always suspicious of white folks, particularly Americans, co-opting work from other parts of the world with a faux “sustainable” label. Not a lot of info on their site about their relationship to the community, would need to know more about the economics of their business.
A good portion of Norlha's business is in yak-wool scarves, which are beautiful but perhaps easier to wear with womenswear due to their shawl-like size. If you're spending this kind of money, Begg's wispy scarves are similar in volume, but thinner so they're less bulky. Easier to pair with menswear
I just bought a yak wool sweater. It's as warm as Shetland wool and soft as cashmere. I would buy an entire winter wardrobe in yak wool if I could afford it.
I have a cashmere shawl in the same colour and size as the orange one in the third pic, and it's perfect for winter menswear. I just fold it once to make a rectangle and wear it beneath a long, billowy cashmere balmacaan.

If you don't mind asking, I'm a 42" chest, is it okay to buy a jacket a size up or would it likely be too large? Looking at a chore jacket but they only have the next size up from my chest size. Thank you!
I once bought a yak wool jacket in Tibet. It was exceedingly warm but when it rained, I smelt like a yak. (Obvs this label would have figured out the yak-smell-issue…)
