Don't get me wrong, anyone trying to sell AI is a snake-oil salesman, but I think investors are more to blame for it than techbros.

I generally buy used and then use it for 5-10 years, so I'm good if nothing new gets produced for a while.

Which perhaps there is a point that they do become a problem but not rn. But I have heard even cynics say there are some promising developments clear on our side of the horizon
