That statement appears to be whiffing on several factors such as increased costs of living such as health and home insurance, tariffs and never minding that a decline in inflation is still no where near to consumer prices we saw pre-covid.
After the CFPB coup, the mattress or a secret spot in the woods is looking good.

This is class war dressed in culture war drag. It has been going on for decades. Now the Super Citizenry believes it can move to a post Constitution fascist dictatorship.
No quit, no quarter, 24/7.

It made me think of 3 A.
All amendments but 2 are pretty useless to them.
Oh, and they like 12 A too.
Most still do not comprehend that we are not fighting to defend the Constitution & democracy. We are fighting to restore them.

Today’s economic blackout should be continued without pause v all corps, orgs, businesses & individuals aligned with this fascist dictatorship.
Join the Mar 4 50501 nationwide protest #4.
We must build to a massive movement within weeks to counter this fascist dictatorship.
We use peaceful means to draw them out prior to them being fully purged & consolidated.

I'm older.
Been pounding it for the US long time.
I fear we need more Malcolm than Martin right now ...

Right now...I think I'm okay with that.
The only question for the solution is will there be guillotines too?
"Government spending bad for economy"
"People need to spend to help economy"
"Billionaires need tax breaks and more moeny do they work"
"Poor people need to be paid less so they work"
Then a rebound erases memories.
Shop only local, thrift, discount and online community markets.

It doesn't seem optimal, especially considering inflation is... uh, down.
But it's definitely a way
The fallout, however, like econ consequences from global pandemics, will last years, though.
Now imagine DOGE taking over the government agency that decides what is and isn’t true
This *really* depends on who is determining the "lying"
I’ve seen this coming since about 2018. The pool of people with disposible income keeps dropping every year. Its like the game of Monopoly when everyone sees the outcome coming, and we’re just throwing dice to get to the end now.
Supporting local businesses that pump dollars directly into the local economy
Avoiding big boxes entirely
Buying resale/secondhand/garage sales
Deferring big purchases for the immediate future
And everything I cancel I am writing ‘the current administration’ is the reason
This is a different story.
Whoda thunk it.
Barter economy!
Dwight Schrute says,
"Let's go!"

And not the Wall Street kind.
Even if it isn't everything you need, it can help.
Bury his economy.
It only benefits BILLIONAIRES.
Inflation is rate of change of prices. Prices can remain high even though there is no inflation.
Analogy: You accelerate your Ferrari to 150 mph and then keep a steady velocity of 150.
Acceleration is inflation = 0
Velocity is prices = 150.
The fed will have to weigh inflation vs. unemployment and low consumer confidence.
