Funny thing: I've discovered I do a weird kind of typo. People often think I'm using audio to text, but I never do. In just the last day I made a typo where I wrote "max" instead of "match" and "list" instead of "least." That is, I frequently make typos where I write out a sound-adjacent word.

Anyone else have offbeat kinds of typo they do repetitively? I wonder if there's not an interesting line of research that could be done.

Tangentially, retroactive autocorrect needs to die.
For example, I sometimes mis-type U/I/O as A or E.

Also my wife's name Louise is all right hand, then all left. The left often comes in too early - Lousie. Oops.
I do it all the time. Usually catch it a fraction of a second after.
Even with the most common and instantly recognizable grammatical errors (their /there).
