Do any other ADHD folks find gambling boring as hell? Whenever i read about gambling and ADHD it makes it sound like a sirens call, like people with ADHD will just succumb to the dopamine but I can’t play any table games more than 2 hands before being bored out of my mind

I used to play poker with friends but I think what I liked about it was hanging out with friends while multitasking not the gambling.
Like, winning money/chips does not activate my good brain juices.
gacha? I'm locked tf in 🔥
I think I've been to a casino twice in my life, it was fine I guess! too much to pay attention to though, sensory overload
I play blackjack in video games. But I tried playing it in person at a casino once and it was just unpleasant. Everything trying to move too fast to play optimally or enjoy anything.
And walking past all the people at the video slot machines was like a scene from a horror movie.
social media and solo puzzle games though…
but yeah things like candy crush and similar games, hoo boy ive had times where i get so obsessed that i’d still see it when i closed my eyes
Now give me something that's actually challenging!
Like...HOW is losing money to the most boring and mundane "games" fun again?????? Felt like a monkey pushing buttons for some scientist's weird social experiment honestly.
Gambling in a video game with digital currency, no repercussions, and a funny little guy on screen? That shit's like heroin.
a coin pusher at an arcade? i like to watch the coins go off the ledg
i'll be broke in two hours
like on the 3ds.
its the only reason i know how poker *kind of* works-
I want a challenge, but I also want to have fun. It's not fun for me if I understand the game is basically designed for me to lose. It's also why I don't want to play video games thay punish me until I get good.
It took me 10 minutes to figure out I wasn’t at all interested in gambling.
It looked cool in movies.
Felts stupid as hell in real life.
Don’t remember much about that cruise, now.
I never liked random gambling but gambling at a game of skill I can get good at can be fun. A little money on the line encourages my opponents to bring their best which can be a nice change of pace from relaxed games
Listening to people spout mathematically bogus theories, while saying incredibly repetitive and banal things really fires up my inner Sheldon
FREE-TO-PLAY GATCHA GAMES HOWEVER—
But I LOVE gambling with odds in games. Anything with above a 30% chance of success, I'm risking it. I even made a gambler sword in DnD once where if I rolled 3 nat 20s in a row, I'd obliterate my target
It barely working just made the actual jackpot that much cooler
But the stars aligned once on a random mob and the sword hit so hard it erased the memory of him. Forgot why I was even holding the sword lol
Some without ADHD would still gamble.
It’s also more boring than the other stuff I’ve found like video games, TCGs, or TTRPGs so maybe it’s a bit generational in that way?
