I mean I’m not gonna pretend to be a milkshake gourmand or w/e, but in my area (which is basically Cookout Ground Zero in NC), they’re close to the best of what you can get at a drive thru fast food type place here. I’m sure there’s a mom n’ pop drugstore in some small town that has better, though.

All in all, I think Cookout’s fandom is ultimately not rooted in the absolute quality of the food so much as “I can get a tray of corn dogs and a pretty good banana pudding shake at 10:30 on a weeknight here and that is a beautiful thing”.
