No offense taken! I do not expect people to know who I am. Online notability is not the same as actual fame (and author notability even less so), and my Bluesky bio talks only of pie. I expect most people follow me here because I post a lot, am occasionally funny, and have pretty cats.

No offense but I had to search who you are π€ͺ

I smiled.
βYouβre the one who always leaves comments!β
And you knowβ¦that was awesome in itself.

Damn it, now I have to make pie.
He was an entitled dick to everyone there, and I legit loved watching him seethe as I feigned ignorance of him before mispronouncing his name. Thrice.
Been retired, and decided a few weeks ago to check out one of your books. Now I wish I had picked one up sooner.
(The book in question? "Fuzzy Nation")
I had the pleasure of meeting Timothy Zahn once: I think he was a bit baffled that I knew who he was.
To me, as someone who writes/reads/loves books, a #StarWars author is just as big a deal as a Star Wars actor. I forget, and find it weird, that not everyone feels that way.
Before the show, right where you walked in, there was a table with a guy sitting there.
Just walked past him, didn't think anything of it.
Yeah that was him.
It's a genius plot I admit it worked on me.
I read your books because you're a really good writer and the books are damn fun.
Speaking of which, I havenβt seen much pie postingβ¦
but at least itβs in good company in my to-read pile with @travisbaldree.bsky.social βs Legends and Lattes (and sequel) and @djangowexler.bsky.social βs How to Become the Dark Lord.
Iβm petitioning for 26 hour days so we can all have extra reading time from now onβ¦
For the best sentient kitty ever, read "Dungeon Crawler Carl".
Note: both books are significantly more violent than SV, albeit in more of an "Army of Darkness" way than a "Friday the 13th" way.
"I'm the motherfucking Lizard King"
DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM???
DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM???
DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM???
GOOD!
Whatβs the pie of the day?
**I am not a prolific reader because I'm an attorney and read all day. Also, I have ADD & tech has rotted by brain.

"He got up and shambled out of the room, weighed down, not so much by the stress of his job as by the knowledge that no one was ever going to give him a Nobel prize for what he had just accomplished."
It's just that some people are perceived to be more famous than others. π
*sniff*
Have a good weekend.
Not to mention wife and daughter. π
and you can pick which two
bingo ;-)
I am loving your Old Manβs War series. Still making my way through all the books. β€οΈ
And your posts are funny. I'll forgive you for not having a dog
Experiencing someone else's internal struggle is difficult to experience through film.
Thank you for sharing your talent and passions with us!
So now Iβll have to go back and buy your book ;)
Thatβs what led me to first read your books.
But, yes, tell us about your pretty cats. π
I refuse to utilize audible for my audiobook needs.
For me: Sweet - key lime and apple; savoury - cheese & onion.
#2 Sometimes a good author
3# Krissy thinks you're a keeper.

You are an appreciated author.
Although you should put cash iron stomach and no taste buds on your bio.
Was thrilled to find you here. You make it feel like "home".
