It hit DVD a month after my mom had a stroke, caring for her was so scary & exhausting & sad. I didn't really like Will Ferrell then but it called to me. The big stupid belly laughs felt like coming alive again & I'm going to love it forever ❤️
Don't know whh but this has the feeling of a sequel where the joyous main character(s) of the first movie have lost their charm and the characters they helped in the first movie have to help them refind that charm, except here it's about Christmas so it's arguably more depressing.
