The FDA names Dr. Vinay Prasad — a hematologist-oncologist who has been accused of spreading misinformation about Covid vaccines and was an outspoken critic of the agency’s decision to approve Covid shots in children — as its new vaccine chief.

"dangerous" = unacceptable risk of adverse consequences. *this* = thousands of not millions of excess deaths, predictable and inevitable. This is mass murder.
„Has been accused“? He has spread misinformation. Misinformation is misinformation, @nbcnews.com, it is by definition verifiable, if you weren‘t just trying to provide succour and support to the nastiest people around, and this regime.
It’s sad isn’t after all the generations of paying to improve our country and one asshole comes in and the Republican Party let him WALK ALL over OUR LAWS just for some extra CASH…They SOLD us out fir POCKET MONEY…BUSTARDS…
It’s outrageous that someone who is 1) not qualified to lead the unit, 2) someone who has knowingly spread misinformation, and 3) someone opposes the very mandate of the unit would be appointed to lead the unit.
Every Trump appointment is a F U to decency, truth, health, justice.
Scariest thought I have is not that these lunatics withhold vaccines…but that they’d actually make them harmful intentionally (to ‘prove’ them to be as dangerous as they claim).
Yeah this guy blocked me mid-pandemic when I pointed out that he was deliberately misrepresenting figures on a study by cropping out the parts he didn't like.
Might be worth looking into the guys that have funded him...
I believe that troll also blocked me along. Marc also blocked me too 😆. They don't want people to show others that they are spewing garbage because how else can they grift off people?
For a well-educated person like Dr Prasad, he sure doesn't have much sense when it comes to vaccinations. I have serious concerns about his ability to make wise healthcare decisions when it comes to vaccinations generally and for children specifically.
We desperately need to purge the terms “misinformation“ and “disinformation“ from the English language. It’s not misinformation, it’s bullshit. He isn’t accused of engaging in the practice of disseminating disinformation that may or may not be accurate, just save on ink and call him a fucking liar.
It can’t be a coincidence they they name the worst possible people to these roles. They are actively trying to weaken and ultimately destroy science and law and other fact-based agencies
if you don’t wear a respirator and you can, please stfu. this man has made vulnerable people’s lives miserable for the past five years and most of you a holes did not care.
"Prasad suggested the national response to Covid might bring on the collapse of democracy, invoking the rise of Hitler and the Third Reich in Germany."
I have written Senator Bill Cassidy several times since the confirmation of RFK Jr. asking him how he now feels about his “yes” vote for RFK Jr. Surprisingly(tongue in cheek of course) I’ve received zero replies.
The goal is to get enough people to die and the rest to live in misery so that government should be seen as ineffective, and thus private "solutions" will be introduced. We won't get any better, but the people involved in offering those "solutions" will get richer.
It emanates from Hindutva ideology. I guess most of the Indian Americans would be upper caste; hence, they're more susceptible to Hindutva ideology. You can go through the Wikipedia page of Hindutva; it'll give you a fair idea of why there is conservatism and Trumpism in the diaspora community.
That's not an accusation. It's a fact. He spreads disinformation about vaccines. He's also not an expert on vaccines.
Do you think you doing your readers a service by letting them decide whether or not the earth is round? Because that's the equivalent to your coverage of the Trump administration.
The guy who preemptively blocked every medical professional so he could spread his lies without correction is going to be directly responsible for the deaths of thousands of kids.
It’s like the gop approach to the epa in every administration(naming people inimical to the actual point of the agency) but amplified and applied to everything
@brandyzadrozny.bsky.social Thank you so much for staying on this story. If there’s any opportunity, I’d be so grateful if those folks were pressed on NIH’s own data showing how much children benefit from Long Covid protection from regular vaccination.

So fucked up.
He’ll fit right in 🍊💩🤡.
We’re so fucked.
You're thinking it too.
We can't say it though, it'd be wrong. I don't need that karma.
It'd be funny, but wrong.
This isn’t funny. It’s not a health movement - these decisions are stupid and dangerous.
The corporate media spew monkeys never stop gaslighting!

From the Pandemic Accountability Index substack:
And these things may not be recognized now, but they'll be important in the larger historical record. Keep at it.
At Putin's behest, Trump is destroying our health system, our education system, our economy, and our government.
Everything he does is consistent with these goals. EVERYTHING.
Every action is open sabotage.
They are breaking laws, violating the constitution, aiding and abetting enemies domestic and foreign, and committing treason…
Ironic.
But all they ever deliver is a fox in every henhouse.
And entities like NBC News, who use passive voice and never hold this shit to account, and in on it.
Both groups want your kids dead.
