Yuck! Tbf, I tried it when I gave up all caffeine for Lent many years ago and they had to give up giving up three weeks in b/c I was a ruined woman! I had kids I taught begging me to start it up again. Anything for the good of young ppl… 😉
Ah, good old Rooibos. A staple in this household. As my grandma Peggy, god rest her soul, used to say about it, "That's quite nice but I couldn't have another."
Yes! It’s lovely and toasty for this time of year. I find it has a lovely natural sweetness. Sometimes the infused rooibos are good too - rhubarb works well with it!
Yes, recommend the tick tock vanilla ones, but the really good thing is that the plain stuff all basically tastes the same, unlike black tea which is a minefield of blends and personal tastes.
I'll give them a look. Hopefully, shipping to Ireland won't be terribly high. I need to find a shop I can trust. I build habits around my tea, and if they change the blend suddenly, it can ruin my week. (I am a delicate flower. Ha!)
Yes from me, I can't tolerate caffeine. I have 1 cup of coffee a day, decaf, because I can't quite give it up entirely.
Teapigs do a really good winter spice rooibos.
yes, but- it has to be really good quality and not oxidized at all or it’s nasty. great blended with other herbal ingredients too, although I wouldn’t put it with mint, more with warming types
Yes. Great in the evening. Can't find a proper box of it since I left the UK. :(
Assam Tea is difficult to find as well. That is, good Assam.
Good to see you again.
Rooibos is a good caffeine-free option when you want a warm drink without the stimulant. I'd try a version with chai spices; I've found those the tastiest.

Lapsang in the morning, earl grey in the afternoon, rooibos in the evening.
Usually there's wine at some point too...

I'm not a massive fan but if there's nowt else I'd sup a cup. 🫖
It’s breakfast and occasionally peppermint for me. ☕️
