TIL Mia Sara, the love interest in Ferris Bueller, was first married to Sean Connery’s son, got divorced, and is now married to Jim Henson’s son. Not sure how to end this skeet but it felt important for some reason. Good pull puppet man?

I saw her at my pet store in LA once and only knew it was her because she said her name to get her rewards program discount. It was entirely unremarkable, but Tailwaggers is still a damn good pet store.
Yeah, but the Henson boy is really talented in his own right and does good things in the family business. The Connery spawn is... I have no idea. Didn't really know he existed until just now.
Famous people should be forbidden from marrying other famous people. It's not fair for them to keep their success to themselves. What about lifting other people up?
Oh, he's very popular Tim. The skeetos, the skeeterheads, skeeks, slutskeets, bloodskeets, wastskeets, skeetbies, skeetheads - they all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude.
Can’t and won’t. But like I said, ONE of his best roles. He has so many fantastic roles. A shorter list would be naming roles he shouldn’t have done.

wait, we really are calling posts on BlueSky “skeet”? i totally thought that was right-wing propaganda! why are we naming posts another word for “cum”?
Supposedly it's a portmanteau of "sky" and "tweet" but this isn't the official name, and from what I understand they just don't particularly approve of it 😅
Same. I forgot Tim Curry was in it, but I always remember the scene when the flowers tumbled from the trees like snowflakes & Mia Sara, of course. I'll have to check it out again.
The Villain’s comeuppance in Timecop is one of the most satisfying ever. He was truly evil, and that looked like a truly painful way to go. The only thing holding it back is the terribly aged CGI
Jim Henson did a lot of LSD. He even smuggled a ton of LSD into England when the muppet production company was based there (he smuggled it inside a muppet, enough for him + the whole team for a year).
Not sure how to end this skeet but it feels related to what happened with Mia.
Random one that sticks with me Katherine LaNasa has been married three times: Dennis Hopper, French Stewart and Grant Show (Melrose place)
Wild grouping!
Yeah. She was definitely "if I could look like in my next life" top ten when I was young, along with Kristian Alfonso, Christina Applegate, and a few others.
I swear to this day that her lack of dialog in Ferris, along with other "girlfriend" roles of that era (like Winona in Reality Bites) made many young men only desire women who were "cool" and acceptable to their guy friends because they looked pretty and never said anything.
Tracy Letts - dude is also a hell of a writer, and cool as hell. He wrote a short piece after the pandemic about how he tried to write during lockdown and could not get a word on the page. Basically, kind of made his family nuts (Carrie and their 2 kids). Cheers to Tracy Letts - Nice pull!
Now I’m thinking I want a remake of The Hunt For Red October, but all we do is take the original and digitally replace everyone except Sean Connery with Muppets.
I know how you feel. Keep watching those posts. Lebowski and Always Sunny stuff goes fast, but nobody remembers the sheriff from B.J. and the Bear or what the fight was about in They Live. One day that part of your brain will get the last laugh.

Also, Good pull puppet man.
That was the best use of innuendo I've seen in a while.
and bleat is right there
"At one point, the director considered Mickey Rooney to play one of the major characters but he did not look small enough next to Tom Cruise."

See, very short list
Legend was a Tim Curry masterpiece.
And now I wanna watch Neverending Story, too.

Connery to Henson...

Got it!
Thank you!
Thank you, Ben!
I know that because I worked with & became friends with one of his sisters. 🙂
Otherwise why is he a puppet man?
And isn't the Jim Henson legacy worth a lot more than James bond?
