When we unionized a few years ago, a lot of peanut gallery types on social media wanted to tell me it would be the end of Wired.
Hope it’s now clear (thanks mostly to our insanely talented and hardworking politics team) that it does not work that way.

Realistically, that’s not going to happen. Not without some collective bargaining on behalf of the non-gazillionaires.
Since then employees have been treated as enemies instead of stakeholders. Glad to see Wired prove the theory wrong

Peanut gallery has no evidence of racial origins, etymologists have never uncovered any connection to black people, and no dictionary includes that.

When what they could have been doing is actually providing some value.
So unions will always be a threat to the powers that be, and anyone speaking against them is suspect.
not sure why shareholders think negative reinforcement is the way to go. quality knows their worth and will go the extra mile when they know it will be appreciated/rewarded
