Your point? Did you take the 200 lie seriously? Of course there are not 200 trade deals. That stat came from the compulsive liar.

All pro teams can provide the same incentives without the dog & pony show that is the pro bowl experience
Save the expense money that is used for this debacle and put it into training officials & adding a sky judge, or two to every crew

Sabres beat a quality Carolina team who they have no chance catching in the standings
They roll over against a Penguins team who they’re figuratively fighting for a playoff spot against
I can accept the losses
I cannot accept the lack of quality play
This collection of players is not good

Agreed, an apology is due them for expanding to 12 allowing their inclusion and subsequent browbeating and end of season drubbings

What does being a COVID denier have to do with anything?
I believe the Falcons issue is that he is a throw to his own teammates and not the other team denier

Good thing Pegula came to let the boys know he’ll see it through with them. They were able to relax, not give a dam* and embarrass the city a little more
Adams was unqualified for the job and incapable of righting this mess

Sorry. Won't be able to watch it. Same stiffs in the skates and in the front office, so I'll have better things to do:
pull out nose hairs
pull out belly button lint
clip toenails
y'know, stuff more exciting than the Sabres

As much as we're all pleased that everyone has good vibes in the building and they have so much great rapport, this city and fan base deserves a team that can finish the job.
I absolutely appreciate that this team is not a laughingstock, but I do not have confidence they will clear the final hurdle
comment in response to

Color me not shocked.
They were only up by 2 goals going into the 3rd. They cannot protect a 4 goal lead, so what makes you think they can protect a 2 goal lead?
comment in response to

So the players have figures out one of three.
In the enduring words of Meatloaf...
Two out of three ain't bad.
The Sabres are bad.

I would trust Billy B to have this team prepared and have proper attention to detail. I'm not sure how Joe Brady stays though.
Based on the first down tush push, I would not trust Joe Brady.
Who else might be available and trustworthy?
I fear there is not a better option

Prior success and failure helps predict future outcomes. Not guarantees, but helps predict. If our future is to see our coaching staff fail our players AGAIN this playoff, who is the appropriate replacement for McD?
Who do you trust not to fail with basics (players on field, clock management)?

...the number of special teams snafus are unacceptable. Play calls and time out usage on offense and defense over the years is clearly beyond his ability. I'm familiar with growth mindset principles which he preaches, but it's not working for him. This team is regularly unprepared in crunch time
comment in response to
post
Obviously he gets to finish the season and prove doubters wrong, but yes, he has been the leader at the top for a number of COACHING FAILURES against top level teams. Not a player failure on a good play call, but he and his staff have handicapped this team when basic competence would be enough
comment in response to
post
I seriously doubt that would have gotten lined up that fast.
comment in response to
post
The timeout was not the problem. He's correct that unpiling would take too much time. The problem was the tush push call in the first place. They had already been stopped once early in the game, so scoring was not a given. A play call taking 5 seconds max needed to be the choice there

I don't think the Niners window is closed. This has just been an awful season injury wise. If they cannot stay healthy moving forward, then yes, it's closed.
comment in response to

I think the slide puts the QB in an awfully vulnerable position. If protecting the QB is a priority, allow a quick spike of the ball up field w/o penalty. The run ends when the QB spikes the ball and allows them to evade a tackle if the defender does not let up in time.

Joe, are you going to count that as 2 TDs for Josh towards your prediction this week?

During games, players who talk AT opponents are assessed unsportsmanlike conduct penalties
You can celebrate with your teammates just fine
You do not need to try to embarrass your opponent due nor after the game
