Trump and Vance’s shameful behavior has embarrassed their country. President Zelenskyy is a hero. He should have been treated as such

🚨BREAKING - Steve Reed has just launched the biggest review into the water sector since privatisation. But wait…..he says the commission can’t even consider public ownership. 🤯 We need to act quickly to change his mind. ⏰ Sign our petition now ✍️ weownit.org.uk/act-now/stev...

I’ve had a thought. Not only should we not buy online from American suppliers on 28th Feb, we should also try and ensure they’ve nothing to deliver either. That would shut down warehouses and delivery. It may affect staff😥, but it’ll amplify the message.

I hadn’t heard this before, but it’s perfect. @alicejolly.bsky.social

Turns out your CEO lurching to the far-right isn't good for company sales - who knew!

You first.

"The net zero sector is growing three times faster than the overall UK economy, analysis has found, providing high-wage jobs across the country while cutting climate-heating emissions and increasing energy security." www.theguardian.com/environment/...

El Capitan displays a massive American flag upside down—the traditional signal of distress or extreme emergency.

We must all band together. There are far more of us than there are of them. Never forget that, no matter how difficult this may become!!

Freedom of Movement was robbed from us by a successful Russian influence operation and the worst abuses of democracy in modern British history. Please repost if you want it restored.

A reminder that most Brits are still normal.

Badenoch and her enablers need to be ejected from politics immediately if they think like this. This is delusional, dangerous, authoritarian, nonsense. Why do it? A call to base? A nod to Trump?

“Experts have accused the fossil fuel industry of seeking special treatment after lobbyists argued greenhouse gas emissions from oilfields should be treated differently to those from other industries” You couldn’t make it up 🤦🏻‍♀️

The government is busy - but the work is not being reported. From banning toxic pesticides to funding green jobs, here are 20 things that happened last week.

Hannan recognises that Britain might have to choose between Trump's US or Europe. Of course, he makes the wrong choice.

I have friends who are genuinely confused when I point out to them that being politically engaged is a luxury item lots of folks don't invest time or money into. They don't think deeply about politics until and unless it directly affects them. It's an alien thought (and I get it!), but it's true.

Reform UK’s Richard Tice says it’s ‘absolute garbage’ to say human activities are the main cause of climate change Heaven help us

This looks promising!

Here’s the peace deal🧵

Despite what the press tells us, the government is very busy, often doing popular things. But you wouldn’t know it from the press coverage eastangliabylines.co.uk/politics/gov...

"It is well-known that most of the mainstream media do not approach a Labour Government in a neutral way. Some blatantly misrepresent what is happening, but more often they simply do not report activity, leaving people with a sense that the government is doing nothing."

Twenty More Government Reforms the Media Hasn’t Been Telling You About You probably won’t have read much about these announcements over the past few weeks bylinetimes.com/2025/01/24/w...

Well, that’s terrifying.

😅

I've said it before and I'll say it again: voters outside Labour's core support cohort largely won't care about the long chain of incompetence that has led us to such dire straits - they'll just blame whoever's in charge at the point their wallets get gut-punched. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Britain should do this too. As should the EU!

Rubbing out humanity and hope…. When governments turn prejudice into policy, their countries fail…

Phoney Edwardian "intellectual" and professional bore Jacob Rees-Mogg is going to have egg on his face for this one.

The major cause of under 10s' hospitalisation is dental decay says Gordon Brown on R4 BH & 70% of kids in poverty have working parents who can not afford to make ends meet. Speaking at Big House Multi Bank in Scotland he says 2 child benefit cap & Universal Credit must change. Our Sept report 👇

“Tufton Street’s so-called think-tanks refuse to answer a simple question: ‘Who funds you?’ Now we can see why: charities – which are supposed to support the public good – have effectively been acting as fronts to funnel money into Tufton Street bank accounts.” goodlawproject.org/a-good-cause...

So, this should trigger a public inquiry into possible misconduct in public office & the potential involvement of hostile foreign nations. No sane commercial CEO would embark on such an initiative. So are we just supposed to shrug at this behaviour from those we trusted to govern our country? #FBPE

This is a fascinating turn of events

Oh, this is beautiful!

“Brexit-optimist economist Julian Jessop, a fellow at the Institute of Economic Affairs, admitted that Brexit has made it harder or “impossible” for small businesses to adjust.” Finally.
