Yeah it would be nice if our justice system were in any way used to practically address our need for justice but it isn't.

A bunch of them did get punched. You're very right about that first thing though.

You're heading in the right direction with this, but as a piece of journalism it should focus on legality and constitutionality (and the total absence of those qualities), rather than describing these efforts as though this were just a slightly wacky time of disorganization. Keep trying!

The students who were treated like criminals by their universities and the cities those universities were located in? Who were called antisemitic by every voice of authority that commented on the situation? Those students and faculty? Yeah it's amazing.

"Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect." This political relationship has manifested ever upward and now defines the operation of the federal government.

People saw The Apprentice and thought "well obviously this is a very important man." Also in 2016 a bunch of people thought they were seeing evil clowns everywhere. A large chunk of Americans think they are about to be kidnapped and sex trafficked at any moment. People have no idea what's real.

The irresistible allure of a very old man who is permanently associated with success because he was just kinda around when the Democrats ousted a Republican after one term generations ago. Literally useless ever since then, has not successfully guided the party through a single challenge.

And where the fuck does that money go after it's "saved"? I'm not hearing any talk of Extra Tax Refunds or anything.
