Her special talents include the unfolding of laundry and blocking me from shaving in the morning so I cannot leave for work.

This is Moira. I found her last year at 8mo abandoned in a forest preserve, very soon to become coyote food. I watched several people walk past her and her plaintive meowing without a single one stopping. Then she locked eyes with me and ran at me and declared me to be hers.

I followed you within minutes of you showing up. If Trae does come here, I'll wait a couple hours to follow him. How's that?

Found this one abandoned as a kitten in a forest preserve. She demanded I take her in. Who was I to say no? (After a police report/stray hold/ spaying & vaccination)

Our IT guy was my secret santa one year. He gave me my recently retired laptop (which always failed during critical moments with a client) and a baseball bat. The note said, "Go nuts."

If you find yourself near Waukegan, Illinois, you need to make a stop at Big Ed's BBQ.

Fun fact: the dye starts out orange and then turns green after several seconds of hydration. When asked by Dublin a few years back to do the same for them, there were initial boos that then turned to enthusiastic cheers.

I also got to know Jack while I was "professional extra help" working on the construction of BIMA at Hat Creek in '92. He was a great mentor. He also may or may not have told me to take the yoke of the Cessna one day and let me fly a circle around Mt Lassen, but I ain't telling. What a great guy.
