A line up of Lynch, Bauer, Lefeu tall forwards with Mansell, Clarke as smalls is looking very interesting.....

Point but let's stop promoting the age hey... ever since they sent full anti Labor, I'd prefer to, and do go elsewhere for my news

Imagine if he halved the cost of Teslas.... how that would benefit the environment. And still make him lots of $

The big problem is the instant sniping by mainstream media of any new proposal by federal or state govts. And it's not aimed at policy - its personality! On AM today Bowen announces 19 new renewable projects. Sally Sabra goes str8 to attack mode.
I'm still waiting to actually know about the projects!

Just another aspect to this is that they may be making changes to cut emissions, but to counter that our use of resources is expanding. Eg is water consumption. Now in Melbourne constantly sits above 5% to 30% expected / recomended usage in past 2 years.

Try ABC Melbourne this morning. Interview with Frydenberg, comments from Patterson and Dutton, but not one attempt to seek govt advice or details. So blatant its become scary

There are free versions available. Libra eg. Stop paying Microsoft

Especially when even the ABC interview Frydenberg, Patterson and Dutton all on the same morning, but no one from the government. Hardly balanced coverage

5% I know.... horrendous!

You need to report this to the abc ombudsman. If they run an unbalanced analysis, then she will be under scrutiny. ABC melb recently ran a one sided review on NDIS music therapy... same issue

Doesn't that move suggest a problem with the criteria?

Might be because they saw Jacinta Allen as a target after Dan Andrews. (& qld). What Allen is failing to do is promote her achievements on instagram etc. Her posts are self indulgent & failing to sell positive msgs against the balance bn MSM & SM. (Andrews was good at this & ignored MSM negativity
comment in response to

Yep. Noticed this constant attack on vic premier (esp by anika smethurst) & fed govt 12 months ago.... so I don't buy or subscribe to the age anymore. The only counter to this is social media posts by the premier /pm to get their achievements known. Unfortunately J Allen's posts are dreadful.

I wish MSM would stop promoting Dutton over policy debate.

The insurance industry has returned to the practice of convincing policy holders to over insure or double insure for factors outside of the business responsibility. It's lobbing unnecessary gold plate policies on businesses resulting in increased premiums. Needs legislation to define responsibility

To quote the age, "Many say it's about to do it again".
Ah the old mysterious "many".
As george negus one stated to thatcher, "many people are asking....."
Who??
comment in response to

This is hardly a story is it. But again just the way the MSM works. When lack of evidence, quote some nutbag who makes a non evidenced statement. It's easier than actually researching

While libs support fossil fuels and nuclear, Victoria is quietly installing renewables, planning with industry on short & long term aims. In Western Vic, windfarms are rising, solar is booming, batteries in hubs and in a recent survey only 17% of farmers strongly oppose windfarms. It's happening
comment in response to

This is the MSM line isn't it. Forget all the legislation passed, the benefits.... and focus on any little negative we can

He said that she said that she said?
comment in response to

Having spent a lot of time over the last few years in Western Victoria, this is exactly what's seen. These areas are jumping ahead with renewables while cities like Sydney and Melbourne are the no sayers

It could be vertical disintegration. Where they are divested of control / ownership over wholesalers, growers and transport.

Now is this was the age of 5 years ago, I might believe it. Nowadays..... not so much.

How true, especially learning how to grade evidence. Most would be incapable of writing a research paper requiring evidence

Yes. You need to use the account name which hopefully is the real name of the person. I think this is to encourage openness and genuine accounts.

So absolutely nothing he's done that's good?
comment in response to

Not my point. He's done bad, some meaningless, but nothing good? What do u prefer Dutton?
comment in response to

He has done some good things hasn't he? Can you find anything,i mean anything at all, or is the negativity too deep?
comment in response to

No.. isn't that the greens and libs blocking the bills that should be being passed now?

When did these unintellectuals stop believing in, "let justice determine the facts" before passing their inane judgements?!

And contrary to many media and fossil fuel hawkers, this is the penetration in just one low population part of Victoria. Many towns under a couple 100 people have charging stations... already

In far west Victoria.....Cape Bridgewater... near Portland... this rolls up...

Happened in melb too a few years back with sacking of Red Symonds. The reason ? To attract a younger audience. The 2 joint replacements lasted a year I think. Ratings plummeted. Apparently young people listened to Red too. Who knew

It's happened before.
Dumping Red Symonds for 2 joint presenters. Not their fault but it just didn't work. Lasted a year?
