Is there a reason Dems continue to attack Dems rather than capitalize on the fact that Republicans are getting squirrely about DOGE? Don't want to attack the richest man in the world when he's down?

Donald Trump is a moron and a narcissist. Elon Musk is a sociopath. The maga GOP are all power-hungry sycophants. We're gonna maga, tho, amirite?

This ⬇️ Few people know 230 as well as Mike

To the extent this actually happens, they've now made it so following the law feels like a win we had to fight for which is not great

Ut oh. Even Israel doesn't trust Trump with their intel now that he has shacked up with Vladimir Putin. I guess they learned their lesson in May 2017. www.nbcnews.com/politics/nat...

The FAA is halting flights until 8pm into Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and Orlando airports for "space launch debris" from SpaceX’s Starship failed launch. It’s almost as if Elon is running America and all its departments.

NEW: A now-deleted list containing hundreds of US government properties that the General Services Administration (GSA) plans to sell includes most of a sprawling, highly sensitive federal complex in Springfield, Virginia that also houses a secretive CIA facility, WIRED has learned.

I can't believe Big Balls, the Douche and Tommy Tuna could make a mistake like this, given their combined year of work experience.

Today, the House GOP censured me for speaking out for the American people against @POTUS’s plan to cut Medicaid. I accept the consequences of my actions, but I refuse to stay silent in the face of injustice. #WeShallOvercome x.com/repalgreen/s...

Only dumbass right wingers would look at a guy whose last venture involved destroying 80% of a company's value and who keeps causing international incidents by crashing shit and say, "Let's give THAT guy unfettered access to remake the Federal govt."

There’s a certain calm and professional “presidential tone” that remains fairly constant in official documents throughout the decades, and then you get to Trump and it reads like someone scrawled it out on a bathroom stall.

I know executive orders aren't real laws and this isn't criminal in nature but this is basically a bill of attainder, which is ordinarily unconstitutional.

Every time I read a story like this I recommit to be louder and more defiant.

It’s almost as if skyrocketing homelessness isn’t caused by addiction or mental illness, but by millions of people being rent-gouged out of a place to live.

Senators are asking the DC Office of Disciplinary Counsel to look into the torrent of abnormal and rule-shattering statements Jan. 6 organizer Ed Martin has issued since Trump gave the conservative activist his first-ever prosecutorial job: DC US Attorney. www.judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/do...

Just fyi, 29 states have filial responsibility laws. So if Elon cuts/kills Social Security or mom's nursing home closes (Medicaid cuts will force many to close EVEN for those who pay full sticker), you're legally required to support them. Surely this will be easy for you! And great for the economy!

In 1943 the US government made an antifascist film called "Don't Be a Sucker" in which we see a college professor in Germany removed from his classroom by government officials who do not approve of what he's teaching about race. youtu.be/vGAqYNFQdZ4?...

Tariff Canada: Smart! Tariff Mexico: Super smart! Smaller tariffs on China: Super-duper smart! Pause Canadian & Mexican tariffs: Smarter! Tariffs back on Canada: Smartest! Tariffs back on Mexico: Smartester! Pause Mexican but not Canadian tariffs: Smartest-er-est! Pause Canadian tariffs: F**g smart!

Republicans wanted Trump to run the country like his businesses, and he is — running it into the ground with corruption, fraud, and backroom deals that exploit and harm workers. You can’t damage a country this bad in such a short amount of time by accident. This is on purpose.

NEW: WIRED got IP blocked by the Social Security Administration, among other outlets covering Musk's takeover. Federal workers are now "prohibited" from accessing our reporting on "government-furnished equipment." WaPo, NYT, and MSNBC are likewise banned, sources confirm.

The weakest, most pathetic thing. Imagine becoming one of the only 535 people out of over 260,000,000 US adults with the Constitutional authority to craft the federal budget—which many aspire to their whole lives—then begging an unelected official to "let" you have a say in the federal budget.

It was literally in THIS MORNING'S podcast that I noted Trump gathering his plans to make it illegal to criticize him: tinyurl.com/24cujhud

My congressman Rep. Tom Suozzi voted to censure Rep. Al Green. The problem with Dem centrists is that they are firmly entrenched on the political Right. They will never be part of the solution while continually aiding and abetting the Republicans creating the problems. Truly cowardly.

Time to spam every Democratic federal official with Letter from a Birmingham Jail. They are the white moderates who obstruct progress, who prefer a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice.

Yes, my economic plan will cause short term pain. But after that you won't feel the pain anymore because you'll be dead

Republicans can’t pass Trump’s agenda without cutting Medicare or Medicaid —but cutting both is actually part of his Project 2025 agenda. All so they can give more tax breaks to billionaires and millionaires like themselves. This is the Trump oligarchy.

Primary everyone

NEW: The Defense Department is considering a 75% reduction in workforce targeting employees who work to prevent the spread of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons, according to a draft proposal obtained by WIRED. 😕

“If you shock and awe our system with no plan — other than right-wing woke revenge and Trump’s 19th-century view of geopolitics and trade — watch what happens to our slice of the global pie and everyone else’s.” www.nytimes.com/2025/03/05/o...

This is a BFD. Both this attack and Lee Zeldin's attack on EPA funding risk blowing up in an epic fashion--one that could get the lawyers involved in a lot of trouble.

i will say again that this crop of congressional republicans are the most pathetic, supine people to ever serve in congress www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Gonna give that Amy Gleason a piece of my mi… hey!

Holy hell. Talk about missing the moment. Democrats need to understand we aren’t going back to how it was. Those days are gone. You don’t look like responsible adults for doing this. You look like simps.

Gavin Newsom said his 13 year old was being influenced by far right podcasters… so Newsom created his own podcast to have them on and be friends with them. Incredible example being set. We are so cooked

AOC was right. It's probably the right time for a lot of people to start entering the fray and running establishment Dems out of office.

Biden had a streak of job growth. Trump has a streak of job losses. It sure is hard to say which one is better for the economy.

We need to primary every one of those ten dipshits.

Jeffries & Schumer have made clear they are onboard with the Trump–Musk agenda, which is also why they're pushing Dem members to save Republicans from themselves when they can't pass a budget. Leadership's goal is for Dems to endorse the unconstitutional closure of agencies and impoundment of funds.

Now you're talking.

the push within evangelical circles to get people to except the lie that empathy is a sin and musk, and the techno fascist obsession with calling empathy a darwinian failure should make it clear that these people are interested in only one thing killing as many nonwhite nonwealthy people as they can

Missed this yesterday. 19 Democrats (including Chuck Schumer.....) joined Republicans in voting to repeal a Biden rule requiring cryptocurrency brokers to adhere to the same tax reporting rules as stock brokers. A yes vote is a pro-fraud, pro-tax-evasion vote here. www.senate.gov/legislative/...

Gvmt services aren't meant to make profits! Our taxes fund community services (fire/police/mail etc). Elon wants a world where your house is on fire but the private FD won't come because you don't qualify or haven't paid your bill. Like private health insurance! And Elon wants to own the company.

NEW: "In the seven years since CISA’s creation, it’s become a crucial agency to help secure elections from foreign and domestic cybersecurity threats." www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

Enough about the price of eggs, from everyone. Cut the shit. The economy isn’t broken. It’s working exactly as they designed it—to keep you desperate, distracted, and exhausted while they cash in.

CNN reporting that Senate Democrats are “disappointed” in House members for violating “decorum” at Trump’s speech last night. Just utterly clueless. And worth remembering next time those senators wax reverently about John Lewis.

This was 42 days ago. Yesterday, Trump cut off intelligence sharing with Ukraine. 42 days ago, Trump was going to force Russia to a mutual table, now he is trying to force Ukraine to be eaten at Russia's table.

Now that Trump has begun cutting Europe (especially Ukraine) off from intelligence sharing, Europe can dedicate far more energy to figuring out how Russia got Trump to capitulate. Since all his OTHER bribery is in plain sight, I suspect any RU bribery is lurking just below the surface.

1. Trump is pushing forward with his plans to create a "Crypto Strategic Reserve." No one has bothered to explain why diverting government resources into crypto has ANY STRATEGIC BENEFIT FOR THE UNITED STATES. The only benefit is for people who are current investors in crypto. It's a grift.
