I will give 2 out of 10 to Roberts on this as he will be the next, next President of the USA. Trump assassinated or impeached. Vance, same. Chief Justice as caretaker President. Funny thing, the Supreme Court may apply a judicial impeachment for Trump & Vance via a Bench instruction to Congress.

The Russian game is laid out. Unacceptable is too light a word. First, degrade Ukraine's defensive/strike capacity. Outcome: march in. Second, hold infrastructure to current status. Outcome: march in, lights on. Third, protect commercial sea lanes against Ukraine strikes. Outcome: income.

History, better to read it than be acting it out. Indubitably the USA has two historical precedents for resolution of disputed Presidential power. Assassination and civil war. Nixon's crisis was a foxtrot by comparison. What the USA becomes next is obvious: irremediable mess.

Fascist Israeli trick. Worst possible world, and Trump goes there, he will lay this as a demand on Ukraine... "or else..."

Oath of office taken by DOJ Presidential appointees requires duty to the Constitution and the authority of the judiciary therein over and above subservience to the President. Constitution and separation of powers first and foremost.

Easy. Trump or attack dog Vance says: "Putin could not act in good faith because Zelenskyy refused an unconditional surrender". But...? "No 'but'", says Vance, "God's word is Truth". "Not", says Trump, "that I say I am God". Where are the Pharisees when you need them?

Photos speak. The old man whose impending rapid deterioration into dementia is indicated by delusions of grandeur, solipsism, and incoherent monologues. Try shifting this madman out of the Oval Office: BOOM CRASH!

Wow! - evidence for psychological projection in action influencing social behaviour. Paranoid & hysterical MAGA government wanting to label their own behaviour as mental illness.

Serial fantasist to serial murderer: "I hear you become very good friends with your next victim". "No", the serial murderer replies, "I encourage a bevy of useful idiots prepared to play my fantasies".

Nominally the judicial direction is not enforceable because the Justice Department will not fulfill its obligation to the Constitution in deferring to a tyrant's command. Fascism plain & simple.

Incivility toward the independence of the judiciary when you have taken an oath to protect the Constitution is treason.

Trump's dementia medication has kicked in. Somnolence and mania are the trough/peak signs of side-effects. We saw this with Reagan and Nancy ran the nation for a while. I guess JD Vance is hootin' wildly behind the scenes about impending elevation to the Presidency.

Two-party democracy fails to deliver long-term stable policy agendas. Staggered elections with minimal recourse for ideological correction between ushers in situations occurring in the US. The question is: how would the US political system be re-vamped? Civil War II...

Was the risk of Trump & Musk having extended control over Federal funding an imminent danger? The lesson ought to be obvious. Two-party democratic systems are brittle and long-term counter-productive for obtaining equitable government. Civil War II might force a deep shift in political options.

Civil War II commences once the Supreme Court unravels President Trump's claims to despotic disregard for the separation of powers. The US military may have a Commander-in-Chief who is the President, but its duty is to protect the Constitution which includes judicial independence. Mutiny now.

Ethnic integrity can be argued in a civil manner. Whilst an academic space must be open for a thesis that supports an ethnic line, supremacism is anathema. The idea that 'I am insulted on ethnic grounds' justifies violence is untenable. Hann appears to be an apologist for Russian ethnic supremacy.

Next step. Supreme Court. We all knew Civil War II was coming.

Why worry? With the USA becoming an unreliable - read dangerous - ex-ally, conventional wisdom would favour formulating a mutual protection pact with China. Perhaps an east Pacific military union. This is not a joke.

Trump & his sycophants are unpromising an economic boom. This is exactly what they preached during the Presidential campaign. Unpromises over and over again. Whom believed?

Interesting observation. It is true to say that we have not 'lost' the Tree of Life in modernist discourse, but rather that we have forgotten to see the branches (as retained in the motif of the 'vine') for the wooden implements (Moses' brazen serpent staff & the Crucifix).
