I feel as though a good chunk of my income goes toward a healthcare system, which I hesitate to use. And paying into a retirement program that I won’t be able to afford, as old age and infirmity take their toll.
This is why I have no qualms making fun of the rich whenever they cry about their "first world problems". They don't know the suffering us normal people face every day of our lives. They deserve to be taxed 60% of their income imho.
Taxing rich is the only active model that US has for balancing US budget.
Tip O’Neal & H Bush, came up with a plan that Clinton signed back into law twice.
Giving US the 1st balanced budget in over 100 years in 2000!
Then W bush vetoed the bill & sent US into 2008 Great Recession!
It’s not🚀science
The thing I like about this picture, besides all of it, is "eat the rich" looks like the newest addition based on fading, implying that at one point the tasteless comment was about pussy, and a comrade really came through victorious twice with the edit.
"The rich" are not the problem. Force used to keep the poor on poverty is the problem. And that's from the state, which relies on poverty to have an excuse to exist.
This is exactly what people are talking about when they talk about baby boomers having things better. The tax structure in the 70’s and earlier benefited everyone, especially the middle class and below. As the rich and corporations got more tax breaks salaries and benefits started to lag.
Once the system fails completely, the rich will realize that the value of their wealth is nothing without a functioning society. Allow then to pay 0% taxes and let’s end up dissolving the current society so we can restart a new one that is balanced & functions proportionately. Very uncomfortable!
If success (ability to change to better) seems very unlikey, then the best option (for getting to the state of changing for better) maybe to “accelerate to total failure” because when you reach the bottom then the only way left is up, perhaps also accelerated. Maybe “Trump” is the answer?
I am going to suggest that it world wide. Here in Australia we have rich people, prominent public figures who, we are lead to believe that they pay no tax at all! Using accounting skullduggery to eliminate and offload all their income!
Come on, worshipping the rich has been an obsession of Americans since it’s inception.
You did this to yourselves what with worshipping money and the pursuit of it and electing those who sold you lies about Utopia being right around the corner for all of you just gave the rich more and more money.
The country will go bankrupt at some point if we keep this up. He wants to deport 100,000 immigrants who work & pay into the tax base. If they are not citizens they don't even get the benefits of Soc Sec & Medi. BTW who's going to go out and pick those strawberries & avocados, onions, etc?🇺🇸🦋
It's not really warfare unless both sides can shoot at each other. This is more of an IDF/Gaza situation where Gaza is all the workers and the IDF is the government, the judiciary and the media.
The imporant question is if the life of an average American and thus the majority of people, lets say the two thirds in the middle of income range, is better now or it was better in times of high taxation of the rich.
Brain absolutely boiling looking at this. Look at all those people who could have had schoolbooks, lunches, healthcare, but they don't because rich people in the US needed a second yacht.

They have become complacent
That way, they supply their own ammunition.

#CompassionateConservatism
It should though.
We could change this whole depressing chart scenario with some uh... [redacted]
I assume it's gotten worse?
