This is a time-honored rule.
If you went to Harvard, you should never volunteer that you went there.
But if someone else starts talking about Harvard, you must absolutely, positively, and relentlessly let everyone know you went there.

Will defend them at all costs
Q: How do you know when someone you just met went to Harvard?
A: They tell you in the first 5 minutes.
Still waiting for someone to be surprised by that
🤣
I went to UCLA.
Harvard people never ceased to tell me they went to Harvard.
“How about them apples?”
Would be on brand for Trump selective attacks and outrage
Yea sorry all those hard ass nights —broke, tired and studying for those economics exams and listening to then young Bill Kristol go on and on about the virtues of small government !!!😏 you can bet I will share and very proud these days since the school decided to display a backbone.🤪
I don’t know the solution, but these people need to be weeded out sooner.
That's exactly the humility that makes a parent proud.
second rule of harvard - never talk about fight club
I thought they took a class for that.
Wait 10 minutes and they’ll tell you.
Got a shirt.
Hey, @thedailyshow.com, watch your words.
#DontCreateHate
Which is funny because Frasier was semi woke but Kelsey Grammer is a shit MAGA.
Anyway. The character’s obsession with Harvard is priceless.
Explains Trump attacking those universities.
It was one of the first internet "news" sites
Dad was immigrant’s kid (Irish/Québécois) from semi-rural Western MA for whom service in WWII & GI Bill opened up the world.
He was the “nerdy” boy in a very macho jock family yet made a brilliant life for himself & us! But his insecurity lingered, always.
Harvard helped.😉
He had a briefcase, a coffee mug, a metal thermal bottle, a blanket, pens, notebooks, a throw blanket, a long sleeve t-shirt, a polo shirt…it would’ve been obnoxious if it wasn’t so darn charming.
Did you know any of Trump's toadies?
“Y’all tell me where the library’s at?”
The senior sternly upbraids, “Young man, at Harvard you do not end a question with a preposition!”
The Texan replies, “Excuse me, y’all tell me where the library’s at, ….you asshole?”
I want everyone to know I DID NOT go the Harvard. Thank God!
He's done this ever since we were in college together.

Sorry about your laceration killing your college career; glad you survived it.
Asking for a friend.

I mean, I shouldn’t say I know anything about Cambridge, but of course I do know about Oxford, having gone there, and I imagine Cambridge is much the same, of course
...and Mark Zuckerberg the Quad Creeper flunked out rich.
While assuming brainpower,
I have to admit that anyone who tells me within a few minutes of meeting them for the first time that they went to Harvard (or Yale for that matter), I'm running for the hills. Especially now that I'm single in my 60's.
I went to school "in the Boston area."
If so, I too must confess…
I’m glad that people like you went to Harvard, so you can tell truth to power.
I feel genuine tenderness for Harvard these days. It's an unfamiliar, even uncomfortable feeling.
🤡
Said relative attended neither Tufts nor Harvard. I hope that I have been sufficiently clear. [confidently]
oh, wait ... nor Radcliffe, nor MIT, for that matter.
Made it myself
A picture is truly worth a thousand words!
👍🤣

(them): "In college I... (story ensues)"
(me): "Where'd you go?"
(them): "Oh (looks at feet), in Boston."
(me): "You went to Harvard. didn't you?"
(them): "Well, yeah."
(me): "That's in Cambridge."
(them): "Oh, yeah, sorry. I didn't know if you knew that."

Louis Winthorpe III:
