I mean per the trump sentencing the law shows itself (again) to be powerless to stop rich criminals, is what Luigi did then not the only recourse left to stop them? There are no other options for recourse.
This article says "spotting using context" is important. The context is that there are a lot of white supremacists in law enforcement, so it's not that out of the question to make that assessment.
It's not out of the question, but there's a big difference between "lots of cops are white supremacists" and "this specific police officer is a member of this specific white supremacist prison gang" based on nothing other than him having an extremely common tattoo.
Is a roman numeral 13 an "extremely common tattoo"? I tend to think of myself as someone who has met a lot of people... and a shark could bite off both my hands at the wrists, and I'd STILL be able to count "the number of people I've met with a roman numeral 13 tattoo" on my remaining fingers.
13 or XIII represents the Death Card in The Tarot's Major Arcana. I usually means change. It also represents the Zodiac Scorpio and the season of Autumn or Fall. Scorpio is a water sign. Other cards representing Scorpio in Tarot are 5, 6 and 7 of cups.
i understand his issue.I pay $20/month for Part D drug plan. I need more of a cream w/2 refills that my dr.'s RX says to use for 10 wks. the cream is $13 w/insurance. It won't be eligible for refill for another wk. Spent over 1 hr on phone w/cigna & need to go back to that hellhole, CVS tomw.
if i pay out of pocket its $39.healthcare is totally broken care. they offered to switch me to talk to a pharmacist who could tell me what to do w/out the meds until they were eligible again. probably going to pay&appeal. #cignasucks tho i'm not sure if the problem's cigna or express scripts or cvs.
This isnβt just a thing in big, important police departments with lots of cops. When my friend and I got into a car accident in my city, the officer who came by had MULTIPLE nazi tats. They are thoroughly embedded in the justice system.
Yep. The article is talking about it.

That, and they do a decent mostly neutral-ish summary.
mate of mine got detained over xmas... he said to the cops, you know 1312. They were like, yeah. #ACAB
He was yeah, I made change, 19,312... I made a hat with it on. Some Cops...
They took a photo of the baseball cap he made and did not arrest him.
βNazi tattooβ is not my bar for racism, although it may be that particular copβs barβ¦ so yeah, seems low. Unsure how you get Black people carded 3X as often with the participation of just 1 in 5 cops. Donβt be pedantic, pls
There are many reasons people have XIII tattoos, considering that Aryan Circle didn't have much reach outside of Texas it is likely not for that reason. That being said, would not surprise me if cops or guards have ties to white supremacists.
Hey Jody, why are you defending a fascist? I've got more tattoos than can be counted and none of them could possibly be mistaken for a white supremacist mark.
My issue is less about the cop, and more about seeing anyone with a 13 tattoo, a common tattoo, and thinking THEY are Nazis, when they are prob someone who just likes Halloween or some shit.
Guys, why are you so mad about my white robe and pointy hood? I just really love wizards and Lord of the Rings.
This flaming cross I lit on my black neighbours lawn? It symbolizes my burning love of Jesus Christ.
Interesting, I am willing to say I am wrong, but I am still curious, because I see no info that a roman numeral 13 is related to WN groups, maybe it is, I haven't found it. Do you have evidence that it is?
If you ask a random person about the number 13, do you think they would say 'oh, that number associated with Aryan circle, a white supremacist group out of Texas in the 80's'?
Yeah maybe heβs just a really big fan of 2003 video game XIII based on the graphic novel of the same name. Also my 88 tattoo simply refers to my love of high quality pluralized ourobouros
You'd think perhaps NYPD would have a database of such things and when cops learned that their innocent tattoos which are all inherently Nazi tattoos by their nature of being on a cop that they might get it removed or be made to cover it up but apparently not lol
13 is a common tattoo - having to do with 13 being unlucky. There are also several other gangs that have 13 as a signifier - including MS 13. I dunno, could be many different reasons, beyond an obscure white supremacist group from Texas that had at most 1400 members.
You do realize biker gangs hang out on friday the 13th yea? Something being perceived as 'unlucky' can be seen as 'bad ass' to those who flaunt it. It is all stupid in my opinion, I am not trying to rationalize it. Just google 13 tattoos, it isn't hard to see how common it is.
This guy is right and if folks would stop being stupid and think for one second they'd realize it doesn't change anything about cops being bastards. It's not important for this specific tattoo to be Nazi, but it is important to distinguish between Nazis and normies
He said it wouldn't surprise him if the cop had ties to white supremacists. It shouldn't, he's a cop. ACAB is all the reason I need. I don't see the image you mentioned.
You know, I could maybe dismiss a swastika and on anyone else; there's tons of groups attempting to reclaim its use as an ancient global symbol of goodwill and fortune.
Maybe, but Aryan Circle is a prison gang, and that's not the tattoo. More likely it is the Roman Numeral 13 which is the symbol of the Surenos street gang. Could have been in place long before LE career. Or it could be something else entirely.
SureΓ±os are Mexican, I highly doubt heβs Mexican. Although the better question is, why are there cops with gang tattoos on their hands, regardless of race or affiliation?
I know you really want it to be a white cop with a white racist prison gang tattoo, but the probability of that is close to zero. There are whites in the Surenos (retired cop here). I can't tell what race that guy is from looking at him. And again, it could mean something completely different.
Weird how an organization we keep being told is around to combat crime is so bad at recognizing gang iconography that it can't even vet their own ranks for it.
I know. Red XIII from FF7. I'm saying it's funny that your first thought is a reference to that because a tattoo for FF13 doesn't even enter one's mind.
Can confirm this was also my first thought, but I haven't had a console since PS2 so maybe I'm just weird, "unless that 13 has a Red before it..." was literally my first thought
Am I stupid? What am I looking for here? I'm assuming it's a tattoo on this one's arm. Which one is the problematic one?
Legit question, if I'm missing a semi-obvious neo-Nazi indicator, I need to know. Or if it's just a symbol I never knew about, I need to familiarize myself.
When I was younger, I discovered my family introduced Turnvereine to this country, which feels like the polar opposite of that? Iβm happy to keep the tradition alive if anyone wants to do some calisthenics and chat about Marx, etc.

And apparently whoever set this photo op up wants to send that message to other Nazis.
Pretty blatant.
Itβs like being in prison with an Aryan gang.

This is what zero media literacy looks like.
25 year study (2015) showed a massive rise in far-right extremism, including white-supremacy, and neo-nazism, among others, within the military, and police especially.
They know it's 95%"the Right", but mainly attack and prosecute "the Left".

Now, they might be racist, too, but theyβre not βNazi Tattooβ racist.

That cops tattoo is clearly not a Friday the 13th tattoo. I would say itβs more likely linked to white supremacism than not.
There are literally no good reasons for that tattoo that it shouldnβt immediately trigger a disciplinary investigation

But a cop? No. And with this? Ha! Double fuck no.
I'm worried someone's gonna try and kill him.
Ah well. Yeah I don't really care about the cop living or not, but Luigi should be alive forever if he wants to be
- top 5 Final Fantasy character
- please admire him
- please do not get a XIII tattoo
Nah, must be a fan of Nanaki from ff 7, I'm sure.
No indication of that? I am shocked, shocked & apalled, the police forces of this world have nev...
sorry cant keep that up without dying inside.
cops & fascists are a natural match, both really into state violence.

Thank you!
